Let’s stick with a basic rule for this thread, that it’s for draft watch and discussion only.

It’s not for trade hypotheticals, who you think needs to be delisted or traded, how many games you think we will win, some other team will win, how many picks you want in the 1st round or discussion of current HFC players.

It’s about youngsters who are eligible for the draft in 2021.

Key dates to look out for:
  • NAB AFL Draft Combine: TBC
  • NAB AFL Draft: Wednesday November 24 - Thursday November 25
  • NAB AFL Pre-season and Rookie Drafts: Friday November 26

Yes please!
Where do they have him projected as going?
Looks to have all the time in the world!
he's not in anyone's top 30 at this point and he has played most of the year at SANFL reserves level, so it's hard to tell where that might put him, but maybe someone takes a shot at him earlier than expected.

Also seems to know his limitations, and will give off when he can't get a kick or run like he wants to.
This is what I get from him too. He is limited but he seems to have the smarts to know this and play within them and therefore play to his strengths.
Holy crap, that is some Rolls Royce stuff there from Wilmot. Some super high end ability
Sorry, I don't get ya hype either bit I do like your enthusiasm.
The thing that I do like about his game is his footy smarts, he could have a long career.
I don't think we need a limited 'rolls royce' but rather a Delorian that can do 88 mph.

Can see Tiggers pulling the trigger on him - as they have 24 picks

Doesn't get lot of the ball and isn't super impactful with it from watch the Allies match today but wowee his agility is insane

What am I missing? Don't get me wrong looks like a prospect but a lot of double grabbers overhead. None of those kicks were anything particularly special in other words if he missed any of those targets it would have been very disappointing. Nice size and mover no doubt but don't quite understand your arousal level.
His movememt, confidence and contested ball winning are his standout abilities. Coupled with the fact he is the youngest ever player to be eligible for the AFL draft, there is a lot of potential. Plays off half back now but could easily transition into the midfield given a year or two of development. Great leadership as well, captained the Vic Metro side earlier this year in a practice game. Still a bit on the light side and I'm not 100% sold on his endurance but he has all the tools to improve upon his solid foundations.

I definitely differ with a couple of guys on here with how limited he looks. To me I see smooth kicking and moves, clean hands and balance in the contest, with talent to burn.

The one thing that isn't maybe apparent at first glance, is how easy he makes everything he does look. He has time, or he makes it with his feet.

He's not a top ten pick. But there is a lot more there than a Delorian doing 88 imo.
