Has anyone seen any comment on whether the corporate seat pricing that was leaked is true?

Nearly 2k for the cheapest ticket is insane... Going to be very disappointed if we can't go, but can't afford 6k for three of us! Was expecting closer to half that.

Close to half that wouldn’t even get you cattle class flights, backpackers accommodation with nosebleed seats…

Richo was on ABC radio sports program 20 minutes ago. I caught him after the interview had been going awhile.

At the end of it was asked about GF tickets and he said his understaning was that it would be similar to MCG and the clubs get around 20,000.

He didnt say each, so I am assuming its like the 17k each competing club gets at the MCG, not 20k in total for the 2 clubs.

Richo said he was confident every Port eligible member who can travel to Perth will get a ticket. He said once the 2 competing clubs have their opportunity to buy tickets the public will have their window to buy tickets.

Also said PF tickets go on sale on Monday but didnt say what time. Said he is hearing 50% will be allowed.

It is 50% capacity, which is great as it means every season ticket holder should get one.

26,000 doesn't guarantee every season ticket holder will get a seat. There will be 3,000 corporates in that, maybe 3,000 AOFM in there and maybe as many as 2,000 tickets purchased by Bulldogs or Lions fans to attend + those who could lend their codes to mates.

When we had 43,000 members we had 23,000 reserved seat members and 4,000 had to be moved because of the pod set up. Richo or the club said we had 29,000 eligible members for the QF.

Hopefully at least 20,000 Port members get in if a lot of corporate tickets are bought by Port members.

We have 23k seat holders, a lot of them will be a part of the other stuff.
A lot won’t be able to come anyway, can’t see many missing out that want one.
Code lenders aside.

We had 23k when we had 43k members in late February and had to move 4k of them. We ended up with 62k members.

Code lending will happen.

Article time stamped 2.07pm says 50% has been approved.

Port Adelaide has received a boost ahead of its home preliminary final, being able to play in front of an extra 6500 fans.

Health authorities and the ground’s management agreed on Saturday to lift Adelaide Oval’s capacity from 20,000 to 26,500 - 50 per cent - for the Power’s clash next weekend against either Brisbane or the Western Bulldogs.

Stadium Management Authority chief operating officer Adam Vonthethoff said the atmosphere should be electric.

“We are pleased that we are going to able to welcome more fans back to the ground next Saturday night for what should be a fantastic preliminary final,” Vonthethoff said.

MORE TO COME

I prefer the smaller crowds, more ‘proper’ fans and fewer whinging theatre goers on their phones.

Lol thrilled...?

QLD and WA full houses and had cases after SA?

How can you guarantee 30k for a grand final bid a week after this game but only 25k a week prior?

Embarassing for a covid free the state really.
How many at the Vic crowds campaigner face?

Who gives a ****. Noone more thrilled than me in this state seeing Victoria miss out on the grand final 2 years in a row. I'm just glad our state is getting vaccinated.

Also who the hell enjoys small crowds? You must of been shattered when we got rid of our tarps and left Football Park then, do you wear ear muffs to AO now? I just want us to win , the more people in there the more hostile it is.

I spoke to the company theat put on the packages and they said the tickets were GA. They couldn't or wouldn't say where they were located.

They are trying to put another package together.

Interesting! Optus has never had GA for footy thus far

They probably fibbed because they don't have the tickets yet and don't know where they are.

When ex premier Colin Barnett negotiated the stadium deal he said the 2 WA clubs could sell 50k seats to members and corporates and there had to be 10k general admission tickets.

But what he really meant was game day reserved seats, not general admin area like Port sell at AO. The AFL required WAFC to leave 3k tickets to be able to be purchased by the general public at Subi but they were always actual reserved seats and across all categories from cheapest to most expensive. Their weren't many cheapies at Subi.

The 10k on a normal minor round game are roughly made up by 1,385 venue memberships that are sold for over $6k for 12 month memberships, 7,000 available for the general public, 1,000 for sports tourism packages about 500 for the 2 competing clubs' requirements, and the balance for venue operator VenuesLive/ or WAFC/ or AFL requirements.

Have the respective PF dates been confirmed yet?

Im assuming Melbourne’s side of the draw will get the Friday night and ours will be the Saturday. Or will it depend on who wins through on each side?

Has anyone been able to confirm whether the club chartered packages are fully refundable if SA goes into lockdown and WA shut its borders to SA while the GF still goes ahead?
