Richmond have a few too many average players out there.
Even for a top side it's hard to win a game like this with names like Pickett, Martyn, Mansell, Aarts and Ross (who I rate but is just a kid)
And senior players looking ordinary
As is the case when senior players drop off young players start to struggle its why our effort has been soo good its been the young brigade leading the charge.
I’m starting to believe we can actually contend this year. Really there are no teams that look ominous and we’ve got just as many weapons as any other team right now.

I guess its more can we sustain it enough to win enough games to make top 4? dont know if the young players have enough petrol in the tank.
I think making the 8 would be a feat in itself.
Correct, their younger players have really struggled tonight. Wouldn't even be able to pick them out of a line up
I guess this is part of the reason why we might see young players rotated in and out come June per se... guys like Stephens, Ling and Hayward will be given games this year IMO. Keep them freshI guess its more can we sustain it enough to win enough games to make top 4? dont know if the young players have enough petrol in the tank.
