I've always liked Allir but also started very well at Sydney and stagnated. Time will tell if this is the Ken Hinkley effect or if it will stand for the rest of his career.

Think he's a pretty good motivator in that way.

I gotta while lotta love for the coaching atm.

Turning a team around from a fwd half dominant team to the current leader of goals from the back half in one Preseason is something to congratulate. Our structure is incredible so far. Coaches arent getting the credit they deserve atm imo.

Think there is some merit in sticking with people who have demonstrated something, worked for Bomber and Hardwick.... Both had calls for their heads earlier in.

Like in his earlier years when he had Richo and Walsh.

Hinkley now has some serious quality alongside him. Think that's the big difference in the box compared to those years inbetween.

His strengths are obviously with youth and being liked amongst players. I'm sure the rest make up in areas he's not as good.... Though their recruiting Dept really needs the credit.

The team that claimed the wooden spoon play more games against the teams that finished top 4 than the minor premiers. Very odd and very soft draw for Port.

But point taken it is great number.
