Hacks and nepotism.
What I will say though, is Richmond took nearly 20 i50 marks last night. We know they're vulnerable down back and last night did highlight that.
They also put young West in the "graveyard".

Collingwood slightly better
With the benefit of hindsight, you select JUH over Schache. What annoys me about the "journalists" though, is they don't have the balls to ask the question they really want to ask. This idiot asks Bevo if JUH is getting closer which is self evident by the fact he was on the emergency list. What he should be asking is why Shache was given priority over JUH in the first place. This might have annoyed Bevo too but it's a hell of a lot better than tippy toeing around the subject imo.
Agree about West. He looked like Chayce Jones out there. Felt for the kid.

It's interesting how a lot of teams/players who had really good 2020 campaigns are struggling this year.
From us, ROB, Himmelberg and McPherson come to mind. Charlie Dixon for Port is the first one who comes to mind from other clubs.
I think it's a combination of the games going more back to normal, as well as that at least half the teams/players didn't really care last year and were only doing the bare minimum to get their $$$. It was easier to look good when you were the only one trying. Definitely an asterisk season.

Reckon Pyke would be a sneaky change to replace him. Not that a rebuilding side is his bag.
Hawks really drank the bathwater from winning against us 
Sydney is rebuilding and he seems to be doing okay there.
Pyke is a good coach. When he was at Adelaide, he inherited the worst footy department ever assembled and made the the mistake of backing them in when he should have dumped them like radioactive waste.
I'm talking about list quality. Sydney still bring in a free top 5 draft pic each year.

Their performances looked like balls not sure I've ever felt that way about their list.
Though I don't dislike Collingwood's list either.
