JVR is considered not a reach after what pick?
He'll go to some Vic team and then we will hassle their fans every trade week till they finally trade him back to WA in 4-5 years for massive overs. He'll then have issues and we'll say we were wrong all the time, he's no good.Just warning everyone... I'm expecting they'll put up JVR's highlights in the coming days and they'll look pretty good and most will jump on the bandwagon and say they will be devastated if we miss out on him.
But as is the way, Freo won't pick him (because they never pick the consensus BigFooty pick(s)) and there will be melts up until the point the players they do choose show they are similarly impressive.
I've been in the wanting JVR camp for a long time but I'm not going to have a massive meltdown when he inevitably ends up somewhere else.
Was just looking at the highlights this morning of a few of the top 20 prospects and Goater's stood out to me.Hmmm reminds me of somebody that I used to know...
Damn he makes great decisions with the ball, too bad he is from Melbourne.Hmmm reminds me of somebody that I used to know...

Its the speed of the mark and the lateral movement. Bit of Judd…bit of Stephen Hill
There are some pretty big "mids" in this draft. As well as Goater, Knevitt seems pretty powerful, and Johnson is 192cms. Erasmus is shorter but a big, strong body.
do freo take best available at 6 & 8 then take key forward at 19 like Williams? What’s everyones thoughts?
Best available for me, it's why teams do a draft list (pecking order). No point unless it's followed.do freo take best available at 6 & 8 then take key forward at 19 like Williams? What’s everyones thoughts?
Yep, best mid, Rachelle at 6 & 8 & one of those at 19.Best available with 6 & 8 and best available WA tall at 19. I personally think there's a chance that all of Amiss, JVR, Williams and Bazzo will be available at 19.
Nah, pick your horse, cry foul when we pass on them before immediately backing the kid we do pick. It's the best way to enjoy the draftI acknowledge that in past years I have had little to no idea including wanting LDU over calls for Cerra and Naughton, and not being particularly thrilled with the idea of Serong (I was Sowrong). Therefore, this year I will decline to comment on specific names except to say that based on the clubs consistent messaging recently (and available in the media thread thanks kindly to Dale), I will be shocked if we take less than 2 tall forwards in our first 3 picks.
My guess (and that is all it is) is if we land Clark with 22, we will take best mid at 6(8) and two talls at 8(10) and 19(?) which could include one or two of the usual suspects we've been throwing around)

If you like Goaters highlights, check Johnsons, better I think, by a long way and you know, local.
definitely more proven
Do we need 2?Johnson reminds me of David Mundy there
