It's Frank Szekely

Matthew Westhoff

He is Wade Thompson's brother

Played 19 games last year, 14 goals and averaged 19 disposals a game

Lewis Hayes up to 199cm and tested very well over 20m. He would be the dream pick at 33 and has a game developed enough to play some AFL in 2023.

Will Edwards who I like for a late pick unsurprisingly tested exceptionally well. He’s physically fully developed and plays like Sam Frost. Good coaching should mould him into a serviceable full back.

Kyle Marshall and Van Es also with very impressive athletic profiles although I like what I have seen from Edwards more if its a choice between the 3.

Ethan Phillips I’ve not seen at all.

I reckon 2 of those 5 end up on our list in the national or rookie draft.
Latest ESPN phantom three round Draft has us taking Ethan Phillips - Port Melbourne (VIC)
Other players of interest:

Hayes going to Collingwood’s first pick around 19
23 Harry Barnett WCE
26 Hawthorn - Isaac Keeler
32 Carlton - Max Gruzewski
41 Sydney - James Van Es
48 Hawthorn - Adam D'Aloia

Knightmare has Verrall at 51 in the ESPN phantom draft and Lemmey doesn't feature.

He thinks Collingwood will draft Verrall with a view to making him a tall defender.

Could see Port moving early on either of these with that perspective.

Does Knightmare take into account all the picks Brisbane (and others) will have to use to match bids on their F/S players? Our pick 60 might come in to the range of Knightmare's 3 round dart board ;)
Yes: he has our pick 33 dropping to 36 for Ethan Phillips

36. Port Adelaide - Ethan Phillips - Port Melbourne (VIC)
Winning the Fothergill-Round-Mitchell Medal for the VFL's most promising young talent, Phillips has developed into the premier key defender outside the AFL. An elite reader of the ball and intercept mark, Phillips is also a strong one-on-one defender and rarely loses a contest.

Sounds like he played more wing so the 14 goals isn't bad.

Elite speed and endurance is what would be attracting clubs.

Yes he has 5 bidding players matched, so he adds and eliminates points.

Between 51 and 53 they line up with the original picks.

For some reason he has GC at 54 which doesn't make senses given they have picks 5,45 and 71, but Geelong at 55 makes sense given Essendon at 54, Brisbane at 55 and 56 and GWS at 57 will be eliminated in matching bids.

If 54 was supposed to be GWS instead of GC, and 57 isn't eliminated by bidding then it makes sense, and that means that NM at 59 becomes 56 and our pick 60 becomes 57.

Adelaide also did this pick trade

Pick 59 and a future second round selection from North Melbourne for Pick 23.

So they now have picks 46, 56 and 59.

He disagrees..

How’s his set shots?

My devoted SANFL mate said to me he’s an AFL talent but can’t kick a set shot. Unless I’m mixing him up with another
