I like that PMBangers has Geelong getting shafted looking for Clark

I'd love for this to eventuate then have Clark consolidate at the Suns in their future midfield mix and for MacKenzie to get homesick in year two and want to move back to a leafy inner eastern suburb...

Us getting Tsatas while Geelong missing out on Clark is ideal.

Prediction: 41 comes in following bids on Lions father/sons.

48, 50, 52 and 65 are somehow packaged into something higher this year or in next year's draft.

We'll take 4 selections and 1 rookie in this draft, leaving 1 spot open on the list.

I firmly believe that we'll be taking either Phillipou or Mackenzie with our first. And that's perfectly fine by me. Both would greatly complement our current smaller mids and have the most upside as well of the other options. I don't really rate Clarke highly and would be bitterly disappointed if we took him.

GC recruiter interestingly said on TR he was interested in the midfield forwards that would compliment what they have.. Suggests to me they’ll take Humphrey or Philipou..would mean McKenzie and Clark are most likely options available.. Hoping for McKenzie … Think he’ll be a great combination with Our current mids in time.

So outside of trying to trade picks 41, 48 + 50 for a better pick/s, how high could they realistically climb just by being eaten up by FS + academy selections?

I know it would be advantageous to trade up for the picks that are between 41-52 ( becoming 34-45) but would it not be better to let Essendon and brisbane go into points debt next year, or does that not really disadvantage them next year?

Tbh with our success at mid range it’s worth taking all small forwards surely one is elite 😅

Do Brisbane have enough points to get their two F/Ss? And how many list spots do they have open (as I understand that they must have the list spots open for the points they use, right?).

I'm all for Clark now. But if Tsatas is there, you take him.

If one of Tsatas, Sheez or Wardlaw slides to us then it's a no brainer. If not Clark for me.

I reckon our list needs a mid that can break the lines to open the game up and/or a Mr fix it who when needed can be thrown into the middle or put down forward to take a mark and kick a goal. Considering who will still be around at our first pick I’m leaning towards McKenzie or Phillipou. No way would I like to see our first swapped for later picks
