They couldn’t possibly go two mids could they. They’ve neglected every other area of their list in the last few drafts. To me Cadman was a no brainer for them but they’ve cooked that already.
if you’ve got picks 2 and 3 you take the best talent.

Yup, if we're looking for outside I prefer the Pou. What some describe as laconic, I see as composed. Reckon he only gets better and better under more fire and could really hurt the opposition with that boot of his.
Tsatas looks like he plays with his hair on fire a bit for mine, and when the spaces get tighter at AFL level and oppo defenders close down much faster, I worry that decision making will result in more turnover than is optimal.
He's still a good player for sure, but I like McKenzie far more as I reckon he's an in the coal face ball winner and loose ball getter with speed who can exit, and I feel very comfortable seeing him with ball in hand.
If we are looking for on field leaders who are vocal then the bold says he is a pass.

North will take him, which is funny, because they have the opportunity to take the two best mids in the draft but they look like turning their back on that.

Best forward with the highest ceiling on face value + the best available midfielder is perfect for them. Sheezel might turn out to be a midfielder in the long run anyway.

Last year I was big on Ward pre draft and he was highly touted by someone I know so I had a good look at him and thought he'd be a perfect fit going frwd, I still think the same
For this year, my starting point is either of McKenzie or tsatas. I know that's cheating as I have two choices but in the next month, I'm gonna try and whittle it down. I'll also see what pointers my ' someone I know ' gives me in the next couple of weeks.
I always find myself agreeing with pretty much all of your takes on things man. I really wanted Sheezel but I reckon Mackenzie is the guy. Like always I’ll back in whomever ever we select but I just love the way Mackenzie gets the ball moving forward by either hand or foot.

They have Wardlaw and Tsatas staring them in the face.

Taking Sheezel is akin to taking Phillips instead of McDonald.

Really warming to the idea of Humphrey.

Gives us a powerful big bodied duo of Newk and Humphrey in the guts both drifting forward. He's the best alternative to Wardlaw as that big bodied contested bull who can power through stoppages which we 100% need.

Fits Sam's run and gun style of just getting territory to allow our half backs to set up and pounce on the turnover.

Gippsland Power has been a good hunting ground for us in recent years with CJ, and Newk.

I don't think so, Sheezel has had great midfield games and great forward games, reckon he'll be a star. Phillips was a midfielder who hadn't played in a year.

Wardlaw and Tsatas are clear of Sheezel as midfielders.

Will there be lots of melts if we read out Humphrey's name? I have a feeling he's coming to us unless Tsatas slides.
Surely nobody is melting before he’s played a game!! I meant they definitely will but Jesus let’s wait and see how he develops.

I won’t be disappointed at all if we take him, we haven’t made too many mistakes in the draft of late.
