Which would mean:

1) Brisbane - Ashcroft
2) GWS - Cadman
3) North - Wardlaw
4) North - Sheezel
5) Essendon - Phillipou
6) GCS - Humphrey (?) or Ginbey (?)
7) Hawks - Tsatas (?) or Mackenzie (?)

Honestly I'd love if we could draft Tsatas, Phillipou, Mackenzie or Humphrey. They all have their strengths and address areas of need.

I just have no interest in Clark though.
100% agree on Clark - zero interest.

Tsatas or Philipou would be great, I’ve got Philipou ahead, and by some margin. He just reminds me of Luke Hodge.

Not sure I agree that he reminds me of Hodge at all, but I agree that I'm keen on either of them (or Mackenzie).

Where is our dons picks 6/7/8 to get philippou/Mackenzie/Humphrey? I still think 1 of them will slide to 10 id be keen to know what the blues would give up for 6 on that basis. They are almost complete and may give us 10 and f2 which gives us likely one of those players and 3 f2 picks feels like a good deal.

Fully agree, we have players who can be pure inside, we need players who can break away from the congestion and kick goals like Phillipou, Tsatas or McKenzie. From what I have read, would prefer Philipou first.

If only we had nabbed Amon. A grader who can play wing and is looking at further developing his inside game. 🤐

Feels like no one thought we could get Tsatas and now that we potentially can, everyone already has their heart set on others. For mine Tsatas is a no brainer if he falls to our pick.
Could be similar to DGB and Logan McDonald - no one thought North would takePhilips and overlook both. I honestly thought Phillips would fall to us, you never know

Perhaps Tsatas’s poor combine-results have spooked a few?

We'd want to be seeing something seriously portending of a great career in another player to look past him if he's there. Has a bit of that Isaac Smith gait and reads the ball very well off hands in clearances. Decent mark too. I think no brainer with him, then Pou and McKenzie unless they think that can teach that bear to kick.

Wow The Rueben - Clayton Oliver/ Pat Cripps vibes. Build like a tank but geez he does look like he has some speed too. He is the one for me 🙏

HHQ saying we're looking at Jefferson at 6. Surely not!!
Who really knows how our recruiters rate the top 10 - is always a few surprises vs the BigFooty ‘consensus’ each year. And particularly this year seems a wide range of views.

Could also be a ruse to entice someone like the dees or even cats to trade up.

You hope that's it, he did the combine injured by all accounts.
I really wonder how much the recruiters really care about combine results. They would have a pretty good idea of their athletic abilities from watching games over several years I imagine. And what's the point in having a great 20m sprint time, if you don't have the resolve to chase when you're buggered and the game is on the line.

The options likely to be available look excellent. I reckon any of Tsatas, Phillipou, Ginbey and Mackenzie could very quickly become best 22 players. Happy that we have the recruiters to make the right call.

I just rematched that Vic Metro vs Vic Country game today... Tsatas would be best case scenario for me. I didn't mind Clark either he goes in hard. Humphrey's was awesome to watch, but I'd rather us take a predominant midfielder... Phillipou out of SA is a brilliant prospect.

I actually was disappointed watching MacKenzie in that game though, I saw his foot skills alittle bit, but other than his foot skills I wasn't overly excited about anything else he brought.

This time last year I had him as pick 1.

Only has fallen as a result of others rising.
