Love the idea of going hard for Brisbane's first rounder.

A couple of picks in the mid-late teens would cap off this mini rebuild very nicely.

Sheezel is my pick right now. Maybe recency bias of seeing Rachelle have such instant impact. Or Higgins being a dominant freak off his footy IQ and natural talent. Or the Toby Greene hype in the media. Kozzie Pickett in the Dees group great last year too.

Is he someone who does the hard yards or someone who just sits back and says "Sheezel be right mate "

I don’t quite understand this one haha

There are these small mushrooms that grow on the Seaford foreshore, if you ingest those and sit in a teepee you'll open your third eye and everything will become clear.

He trained with Freo over summer but they didn't take him.

Wasn't he really half arsed with some of his training/rehab?

I thought I read somewhere that he was out on the beers while in a moonboot at one point and thought nothing of it.

Might have some talent but doesn't pass the reliability test I rekon. Might be a bit of locker room cancer.

Ah right. Doesn’t sound good then. We’ve currently got a really dedicated hard working lot

Thoughts on this bloke? Sandy boy, vice captain and small forward. 183cm models himself on Toby Greene.

Could be the Rachelle of this year. Or another Jack Higgins.

Yeah, he's a top 10 pick at this stage though. Not sure we are in that range hopefully.

If i was in a moonboot, i'd be out on the booze, but that's just me.

"our list profile?"

Are you Leigh Montagna ? Do you still visit that crazy white witch woman in Heatherton for predictions on your future ?
You know, the one with the boyfriend twenty years younger than her who runs the op shop sourced, second-hand clothes
business on eBay.
They're good people leave them alone, sold me a suitcase of clothes...told me to move to Ireland and that all would be right with rainbows and sunny skies 🤔 Hey, hang on....wait a second...f*CK.

I’d still be looking for mids. We’ve been listing names with high hopes for about 10 years now, we can’t be getting too far ahead of ourselves yet especially with two of our top mids being 28 and 29 this year.

Mids, key defenders and small forwards with pace would be my priorities in order. Even just more pace around the ground in general if we’re happy with our forward line.

Trade for their first (14-18) and package it with our first for a pick in the top 3-5.

Would support this.

Just draft the next Paddy Ryder, Jack Steele and Max King. Pretty simple really.

I wouldn't mind drafting another pure KPF with a 2nd/3rd rounder for a break glass situation.

If king was to go down we don't have anyone.

How about a guy the same size as Nick Riewoldt who can snag a goal or two most times he plays.?

Is there a better looking draft year than the one just gone?

Wang, Mitchi, Windy, Oscar, Peris, Kyle, Hayes.

We'll see who comes in the MSD too.

I was happy as hell after the 2014 draft, hell didn't that turn pear shaped.

We've had few drafts where the new players have come in and made a statement.
2010: Jamie ( Supersub ) Cripps. Ledger . Siposs. and even Curren Made me feel we were getting somewhere.
2011: Milera and Saad looked like live wires. Newnes and Webster played well straight up. Ross rated highly.
2013: Billings looked the goods and Dunstan played nearly every game. Of course Acres might be the next Goddard.
2014: McCartin and Goddard our new bookends. Lonie and Sinclair getting plenty of games early.

So far i'm pretty happy with GWM and Hindhager, and i can see the potential in the others. I don't let myself get too carried away any more though.

From SA and watching/knowing a few names around the traps here and there. If thats your wish I'd go

1st Pick: D'Aloia - Inside Tough Mid SANFL U18s Player Focus: Adam D'Aloia (Woodville-West Torrens)
2nd Pick: Isaac Keeler - Athletic Tall/Ruck

I'll wait for Ben ;)
