Hats off to the recruiters, feels like our best draft in years. Mattaes looks an incredible prospect, never been more excited about a draftee. If one or two of the others come on then we're laughing. And there's a really nice mix amongst them.

Just so stoked, can't wait to hear how they are traveling on the track.

2 months ago everyone was ready to chuck in the towel. Flat as anything.

I reckon everyone is absolutely chomping at the bit for next season to start now.

Reading some of the replies it looks like he’s already getting under some peoples skin and it’s day one 😂
**** them.

Characters are good for the game. Kid went back home, chucked our gear on and started running.

I hope he becomes as good as Dusty in his prime.

Absolute love this pick.

Jeeezus f***ing Christ!! What a highlight reel. Could be Buddy, could be Spencer White. Doubt there is much middle ground there.

We sure have gone with a couple of genuine matchwinner or complete bust types. Like many on the board, I love not playing it safe

Yes Pou and Keeler might be super immature. But they seem to ooze belief and raw talent, and from videos appear to play a game based more on instinct and talent than discipline and effort. Lets hope we dont coach that out of them like we have with others in the past.

Overall, happy to shoot for the stars to attempt to land our Dusty, JGD, Petracca, Buddy. Even if it doesn't work out, at least we tried.

This stuff is crap.
If someone takes a player earlier than they are rated , its ages before we know its right or wrong.
If they let someone slide. Same
You're right, but..... It's draft night we did well let's drink the bathwater for a bit.

Wasn’t too long ago people were torching us for a poor list after a poor trade period.

A bit like Mattaes….what do you mean I can’t start NOW?

Good haul & picked exactly what we needed, 1 x A Grader mid., 1 x X-factor med. forward, 1 x big bodied KPD & 1 x KPF\Ruck.
Disappointed that the Tigers took Steely Green late, hoping we could get him as a rookie.
Reckon Jed Hagan could be a handy pick up in the rookie, versatile small. Could help out Gresham, in rotation.

Interesting with what GWS ended up with.
They were heavily into small-forwards, Jacob Konstanty, Charlie Clarke & Ollie Hotton.
Having to match the bid on Harry Rowston so early, stuffed them up I reckon. Gotta love the Swans trading style.
And GWS picking Toby McMullin before Hotton, was a bit of a happy shock.
And their idea of Darcy Jones being a small-forward, bit of a shock also.
Reckon he's definitely suited to a roving or wing position.
