Because all indigenous are the same? Seems a bit…

racist

Got some similar traits to be honest. Quick and good kicking action, fast thinking. Tall and agile too. Funny enough his highlights are all followed by Liam Jurrah suggested videos. He was some player Jurracane. It's a shame he didn't stick around.

Yeah things haven't been good for Liam even after going home

Has anyone seen footage of Ashton Moir who'll be in the 2023 draft? If you think Hunter Cark is double sided, far out. This kid kicks 50 meter goals on either foot like he doesn't have a side. Looks properly ambidextrous. Absolute freak.

If we want a replacement for Naz this kid Ronald Fejo Jnr looks the goods.

I think you know he means skipping Petracca. Paddy has made it back to be an AFL standard back but he's also at a club that gets the absolute most out of him. Tom Mc Cartin is no worse and was a pick 33. I'm he's made it to be a good AFL player but it was still the wrong call no matter how much you frame it.

I don't want to go on and on about drafting but that was a terrible period. They deserved to be given the boot.
Since Liberatore took over from the man who shall not be named;

King
Bytel
Parker
Hind
Young
Wilkie

Byrnes
Connolly
Bell

Allison
Highmore
Heath
Sharman

Nas
Windy
Owens

He wouldn't have taken King so take him out and it's a pretty humble list of players. The only good ones are the SA boys which is why we have given the job to him. Windy and Owens were our academy kids who we got a discount on. That's shooting fish in a barrel stuff.

The kid can play but gee they love some hype. In that entire ten minute plus highlight package he kicks on his left 3 times. 1 doesn’t come of the boot that well but hits the target, 1 is a bit of a mongrel that misses everyone and the last is a 20 metre sideways chip. He spends a lot of time dancing around to get onto his right and even hits a few with the outside of his boot. I’m sure he can kick on his left but he’s hardly Steele Sidebottom and in action he’s as right dominant as most.

I don’t get to many games these days but I watch way too many on tv. I’d hope we have scouts there in person because there’s no substitute for actually laying eyes on these kids Imo.

I'd heard the hype before seeing him. Sounds like he can kick 50 on his left foot. I was handy on the left but not with any power. A 25 meter chip on the non preferred is still a skill but raking them on both feet is freakish.

I was hoping he’d be left dominant but he still looks a ripper. If the SA clubs can get JHF home, rankine plus maybe he who must not be named then would anyone still have the stomach to pick him at 1.

Hence why that list was posted without comment

Genuine real talent in this draft up till about pick 12. Good mix of mids and keys. We should snag some quality

There looks like a really good 6 or so then another 8 to 10 that are still really good but have a few question marks, then a really even spread of talent.

It reminds me of the 2016 draft where there were good players right though the draft but perhaps lacking that really ridiculous talent up front. 2016 had Mitch Lewis, Harry Morrison, Nick Larkey and Jake Waterman in the last 6 picks taken in the 70s.

I’m torn on what we need the most. Obviously a gun mid is right near the top, but gee king looks like he needs a good partner up front, otherwise we will destroy his career. Cadman or Jefferson and take the best available kid at pick 30ish?

Off his own boot?

Gawn, Oliver, May, etc might have something to say about that.
It's hyperbolic but seriously the guy had the most dominant grand final I can think of ever.

CHRISTIAN PETRACCA

Forty disposals, 24 of them contested, two goals, nine tackles and four clearances.

Petracca was the first player to ever get 40 touches in a Grand Final in an absolutely titanic performance, particularly in the second half.

The midfield bull kicked the first goal of the game with a brilliant finish from outside 50 and while he didn't have a massive influence in the first half, he lifted in the second period when the Demons needed him most.

His work around the stoppages and in contested situations was elite, with the Bulldogs having no answers to his influence on the match.
