What is disgraceful is your comments.
Our team goes out each week trying their best. If the Swans were your son and he got smashed in a grand final would you be so upfront about how he got smashed and should not have deserved to be in the grand final? If so you are a poor dad.

I think most fans are very much realists in regards to our GF performance. It was horrible. We know, we get it and none of us can change it.

People continually harping on about is just grating from supporters of the club.

"Pies would have..." if my aunt was my uncle...

"XYZ club did this in the off season..." tracking...

Etc etc etc.

If people do not want to back the club and constructively criticise it, then of course their opinion will be derided.

It is exhausting to constantly hear it.

I don't get the , oh pies should have made it, they didn't, we won, if they were better they would have been there.

However the players arent sons, they are highly paid professional athletes, so its nothing like driving home with your son and having a crack at them

I haven't seen anyone sweep it under the rug.
It was a thrashing, people accept that. But it's over, there's nothing to be gained from constantly rehashing the loss.

It's a new season, a new opportunity.

Negatively focusing on the past is rarely a healthy attitude and in this case achieves absolutely nothing other than pointlessly wallowing in misery.

Look forward to the season ahead and focus on the journey game by game.

I've just returned from an alternate universe where Collingwood beat us in last year's prelim and faced Geelong in the grand final.

won the norm smith medal for his 13-goal performance. A wild elephant ran onto the field at 3 quarter time and this board melted down about how our youthful, talented team would have fared better against Geelong's team of senior citizens had we managed to not choke at home in the prelim against a team that finished much lower than us.

2016 we were within 2 goals with 2 minutes to go. I think pissweak is really harsh considering everything that was against us that day. Fair enough roll back to 2014 but the reality is the playing group is completely different.
