We've already tried our first pick for McCartin, it didn't work.

Yeah, that's the joke I was going for

Last year I didn't watch as much footy as I had in 2020 when I was stuck at home in my apartment. I watched all our games but not many others in 2021.

You get a bit of a false sense of your team doing that I've realised. Can lead to being more negative. 'other teams don't do what we do' but unless you watch their games all the way through you miss that they actually do often do the same things.

I've watched a number more games already this season and the thing that has struck me is what I've seen as our bombing high kicks into our forwards is actually a thing that all teams do.

I think when we get hung up on that, it is actually more that when we do lower our eyes we miss badly. The top teams don't. It seems that a lot of forward 50 entries as bombs are accepted across the competition it's just the coaches of the top 4 want them mixed in with more precise entries too. We need to develop the precise part of the mix.

Do we think Jack Steele can beat Trac and touk for the Brownlow? Cripps and Neale the other smokies. I imagine all of these blokes have a perfect 3 from the first round and maybe 6 by the second

Cripps might win it early doors.

Nope

Yep, always tend to lean towards the sides that don't take votes off each other. Walsh and Cripps might do that, same as Petracca and Oliver.

Bloody good to watch, just kept running and took risks. Goal kicking was superb. Can anyone recall the last time we beat Port by 12 goals in Adelaide or anywhere else?
Round 19, 2010 is the last time we beat Port by 12 goals or more (94 points)

Our biggest win against them in Adelaide was Round 5, 2009 - we beat them by 66 points.

Probably not, but unlike those guys Jack Steele has very few team mates stealing votes from him - so who knows?
