I didn't concentrate on Charlie's segment on AA earlier, partly because of the BS he spoke about people criticizing our results - but how long did he say he thinks he will be out for??

So Dixon has bone bruising, and that keeps him out for a month?

Pull the other one, Ports!

Had to be something way more serious than that.
They're not exactly wrong, when I started the physio for my shattered ankle when I broke it almost 18 months ago or so now the doctor was very stern in saying don't push it to hard to soon otherwise it will cause bone bruising which takes a lot longer to heal. I've drawn my own conclusion from Charlie being out with it from my own experience.

Sounded like he didn't really know - and neither did the surgeons (yes, plural) he has spoken to.

He intimated 4 weeks rest, but they may go down the surgery route now anyway in case he rests it and then it flares again anyway.

I reckon we can put a line through him for 4-5 weeks best case.

Someone said it was an Edema.
Which is fluid caused by bone marrow inflammation, so sounds a bit more than bruising 🤔

Did Skinner tweak his ankle?
He was subbed off at 3 quarter time, which allowed Frederick to come on. Interesting that he isn't listed as an injury though (it's not the first time we've taken advantage of it this year).

If they've manimulated the rules and used the medical sub just to get a fresh player on in the last quarter... well, it's almost like the karma bus said 'oh no you don't'.

Get what you deserve, hey Ken.

I swear I heard something about him having a minor injury to his ankle. I'm guessing the injury list update won't be far away.

Yes his ankle was mentioned as the issue.

Peps hurt Zak in that collision. Both of them dropped out of the game after that point.

Surely port would be the team by a fair margin that takes out team mates in contests the most each game. I just don't recall it happening to other teams.
I pretty much saw the second half and probably half a dozen contests where we kill each other for no reason.

Farrell to make his return this weekend.

that seems to have come up quickly. By the sounds of it, he has made ever post a winner in his rehab. It great to see his name off the injury list.

Clurey listed as “assess” is interesting. The backline need all the help they can get.

even though the injury list is shrinking, my confidence isn’t increasing….

KANE FARRELL is this week expected to play his first game since rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament last July.

Injury list
Aliir Aliir – ankle (2-3 weeks)
Tom Clurey – knee (assess)
Charlie Dixon – ankle (TBC)
Xavier Duursma – neck (assess)
Orazio Fantasia – knee (6-8 weeks)
Sam Skinner – ankle (assess)

I think assess doesn’t necessarily mean assess to play. Can mean they need to check things like swelling after training etc.

Or in Duursma’s case I think it would be play through or park for surgery.

Jonas and Spp are elite at smashing their own teammates.
