Shit, Mills totally ruined himself as a trade in target
Yepp, doesnt look like he wants anyone owning him this season. $633K and a breakeven of 36 . Brutal for buyers.
Its like...get him this week or sayonara
After McCrae's shitty score, Mills will be the highest price on the entire board in just 2 weeks, with 1.7% current ownership :p:p:p
He'll be like a nice piece of rare expensive jewelry to hang on your midfield.

I cant get him in without serious sacrifice, so i;ll be passing.

He's priced himself out of my reach for at least 4-6 weeks. I'll be hoping to get him after his Bye. Sydney's run home has me thinking he'll smash it. I had absolutely got my eye on him as a POD-y option, but he's totally ruined it now.

He made a fool out of me...was asked multiple times coz so many wanted him to start off, but he had 2 weeks separate from the group late in the pre season with a recurrence of that achilles. How the hell can we start a bloke with that hanging over him ?
He had those CD numbers cranking over like a poker machine on Monday. >90% DE and always damaging. I might have another look and see who i can dump for him.

Scored 214 in 74% TOG too.

If he played more minutes he easily could've gone 230+

Yepp they even rested him with 4 minutes to go, never went back on whilst a few goals went thru. If it was close late into the last qtr it would've been a 230+. Awesome performance. Big props if u have him.

Reminds me of Cripps a few years sgo. Playing much more outside and running around trying to be Dustin Martin. Needs to get back to what he's good at. Winning a heap of the ball and distributing it to outside runners.

He still had 15 CP's and 8 clearances. He's getting burnt by poor starts and clangers, had another 7 of them on the weekend.

If he can begin games better when scores are hot and GC are in the game and limit his turnovers he will be fine.

Last week he started with 3 clangers, this week he started with 2 FA and was on -8 after 10 mins. No coming back from there.

Don’t think so it’s his coach I think seems to be playing more outside
Not sure this narrative stacks up:

Yes tackles are down compared to last year, but equally contested possessions are up. Biggest differences are:
1) 10% lower disposal efficiency
2) 6 less uncontested possessions per game
Feel like he's going through an average patch last month or so but think he will revert eventually - role looks ok to me. If anything teams are giving him less space.

He also doesn’t have Ben King to kick to. The game style of Gold Coast is different to other teams also. Seems like get it forward at all costs. They don’t flick it around like other teams do eg Melbourne, bulldogs.

Where do we see Tracc and Tom Green ending up at season end ?

Green bit like a jnr piggy .
Would prob have had 3 X 100 plus seasons if not for Leon .

Tracc a gun can go sub 90 at times tho.
Big celing .

Petracca + dodgy knee and consequent erratic performance, ave 113, no optimism whatsoever he'll even keep up 105 until he is rested or the knee comes good. 555K and BE 119:

Mills, 636K, BE 36, ave 135.6;without the double ton (I don't buy the 'without' business, but for those that do) 112 and palpably on the rise.

If you manipulate figures the other way and why not, it is just as meaningless, disregard the 71 and he averages 173. Remove both outliers and it is 126. If you watch footy as well as SC numbers, you also get the joy of watching him play.

That is my rationale for a risky high end sideways swap, but I think the gap will only widen and Trac. will be really good one week and then forward or even rested here and there, so his low-end will be not be necessarily lower, but become more frequent.

Mills is just ridiculously good. I now get to watch Mills/Heeney in full flight with full investment other than merely love of the game.

Just get both. It's what I've done.

So, was Touk a one hit wonder last year? I live a cheap premo, but not sure 110 cuts it.
Look, he gave away 3 very early free kicks and started from minus 8, we all know how it goes from there on SC.

The important thing was that he had 8 tackles, which is roughly the sum of his tackle total in the first five weeks. I am not sure if it was Rowell's roll or Rowell rolling into his space, but Touk was back to his all round game at last and the 140s will be upon us. And there will be much rejoicing.

I noticed that last week. Noah Anderson was a prime culprit. Often had Touk or Rowell on the outside calling for a handball and instead just hacked it forward around his body.

The game plan is get it forward quick, Anderson is a bit of a butcher also. Needs to make better decisions, which will result in better DE.

Anyone else liking Sam Walsh now?

Only in 3% of teams. Or are we worried about the amount of Blues mids now.

Laird or Mills first, surely? Or JMac, Steele, Ollie, LN, if any of those are missing. Touk Touk had 8 tackles last match and is about ready to explode. If you have those 7 already, of course, then may you go forth and multiply.

I have Mills, Clarry, Macca, Neale and Touk lmao

Steele is pricy .. Laird also pricey...

My current Mids are Macrae, Steele, Oliver, Neale, Miller & Cripps..
Can't decide who to bring in next round?
Keayes as POD.
Brayshaw, but Covid WA rules could rule him out one weekend.
Boak getting old.
Petracca can be up and down.
Parish but Ess are crap.
Green but can he keep that score up.
I too have 2 mid spot's left to fill. If I was picking them this week it would be 2 of Piggy, Keays, Brayshaw, and Laird.

Oliver and Brayshaw have the huge ceiling, Keays and Laird will be POD's and don't have a lot of competition for points in an improving Adelaide team.
