Of course he is - the result goes against what he was calling for so he needs ro save face somehow.
I don't watch footy media because I am a well-adjusted individual and get enough WTF am I looking at from our very own covid threads, but I have watched some of these Fox Footy clips with Riewoldt and whoever the others are, and I am content with my regular viewing habits.
Whateley is such a mediocre thinker, but he gets put on a pedestal because he uses words like 'crucible' and he's surrounded by morons who get impressed by verbosity.
DGQC was right here and if ever there was a time for the football blob to fret about changing the game forever it was this incident, but they said nothing.

Personally I would have thought a cowardly gut punch, that actually hurt someone, from behind to an exposed vulnerable player should be copping heat for not getting a suspension.

I remember when Barry Hall joined AFL 360 with a guest spot one night per week, and his clip was him saying how intimidated he was by Whateley's intelligence, showing him being completely stumped when being asked a question with the word 'minutiae' in it.
Pretty much sums it all up.

It's frustrating. Similar in nature to the Jeremy Cameron collision with the Essendon player on the weekend. Looked nasty but no head contact, both contesting the mark.

It was right call with Willie, it's just one camera angle that looks bad and as such is coping scrutiny. The other angle shows Willie a split second away from marking it.

If the AFL challenges the umpires decision (both the game umpires no free call and the Tribunals no case to answer call) then will it be guilty of behaviour that constitutes aggressive, abusive, demonstrative or dissentive behaviour towards an umpire?

Huge thanks to our mates at The West, they’d never have worked this hard to get a Freo player off.
They expect us to watch AFL 360 when it's so inheriantley Vic biased. Watched it tonight to see that prick Robbo squirm at the result and Gerard too.
