Oh, by the way - that ice cold, one-handed, contested mark from Cottrell....
Gonna need a gif of that, somebody.

Almost immovable under the footy.
Weitering didn't look his usual self early in the year, last night was his best game of the season
Charlie was hilarious in that clip.Agree with the rest of your post, but not this bit.
That membership record vid was completely contrived and the players’ reaction was awkward and forced. Watch Owies. He’s laughing and taking the piss about how hard they’re all having to act out, like they’re in a rent-a-crowd (which they essentially are).
I’m sure the players appreciated the fact that we have great membership, but making them overact for the camera is absolutely cringe.
I'll have McGovern and Marchbank instead of Plowman. But Kemp? That's insulting, Kemp is nowhere near Plowman's level as an AFL defender.
Kemp will go past Plowman like he’s been nailed to the fence.
And that’s good for Carlton …
I know i shouldn't be disappointed but the commentary was just so bad.More the tv coverage. No mention of just how undermanned we are
You can just see Durdin idolises Cripps … Cripps this year has been the Captain we all hoped he could be ….. friggen Superman!Durdin ain’t walking away from this.

He’s part of it now and there’s no turning back …
I was quite surprised Luke Parker was being booed. Not sure what the rationale is there ?I couldn’t understand why the crowd was booing Luke Parker. I couldn’t give a shit as to his antics with Shiel. Fudge Shiel and *.
Having said that, he was smooshed in two crunching tackles. That I liked.

Kemp's got a lot of work to do to earn a spot, especially with Marchbank fit.Kemp will go past Plowman like he’s been nailed to the fence.

Quiet first 5 rounds. Seemed to be labouring physically. Might have also been mourning the loss of his 2IC in Jones.Weitering didn't look his usual self early in the year, last night was his best game of the season
No current season stats available
Dude has gone way up in my estimation. Always had the running ability but I always thought he was going to be one of those one dimensional battlers that teams take a punt on sometimes. Proving me very wrong, kicking and game sense improving at a rate of knots. Good mark too.Very impressed with Cottrell. I think I saw a Channel 7 graphic that he ran the second most kms for the game (Walsh no.1)
Early in the season I saw him either not jump for marks or try and out body larger opponents, last night, I saw him bust his arse to get to the marking contest and smash into Mcartins back, causing the ball hits o spill.
It was so good to see
I missed the J Kennedy incident was looking at my phone at stats, and they didn’t replay it on big screen. Watching it back, It was crude and late, but doc played on. He may get a week or two, but he ripped his hammy so will be out for more than that. Don’t hold any grudge to Kennedy has always been a tough ball player.
One thing that may have been mentioned but Havnt read every post in thread, but Matt Kennedy was smashed 3-4 times (fairly) in the first half when going for marks etc but took the hit and kept on going. Kids going to be a very good long term player, great second line mid behind Cripps and Walsh.
One concern is how we use all our petrol tickets up once we start to get a run on, once Sydney started taking control in the third we needed to switch to tempo footy, and not reply on our defence holding up. But that will come with time, it has ready improved over the last 5 weeks.
It’s so good to be winners again, I can once again enjoy the footy wraps each Sunday/Monday.

He's well and truly back to his best. Been excellent last two weeks.

Do number of touches mean he plays well? Been pretty average most games, poor in quite a few. His kicking isn't great, dow like alot of the time, and impact on games is minimal. I would like more out of him.Averaging 25 possessions and 5 tackles a game?
Almost immovable under the footy.
Watched the whole thing with no soundI know i shouldn't be disappointed but the commentary was just so bad.
We essentially played the best quarter of footy by anyone in years and they couldn't have been more subdued and disinterested.
They kept death riding us hoping for us to be pipped. Was almost zero interest in our victory.
Gaz, Nick and Moons were much better and then the three on after that were good too.
