I’m trying to remember when one of our debutants tore it up in their first game - Andrew Walker 2003?
was there - so wish he'd hung on to that attempted screamer.............bog in your first game is pretty rare...........

I might be being a conspiracy theorist but I have noticed on weeks where we have a number of players under injury clouds we dont seem to do our prematch conference on a thursday. I thought its always meant to be thursday for a saturday game?

New rule on here. You can’t post bombs on here and then just disappear when you’re pressed about if you‘ve heard something.

It happens way too often.

Tonight's lotto numbers are going to be....

Hold on, someone's at the door....brb

Maybe I'm drawing a long bow here, but humour me...

In America the sports HAVE to post injury updates on players as an anti-corruption measure. If clubs hide an injury from the public, but let the betting agencies know, then it's considered a form of match fixing as it effects odds.

With how much betting has had it's tentacles infiltrate the AFL could it be that they hide the odd injury until as late as possible to let betting agencies get ahead of the odds?

adjusts tinfoil hat Sounds legit to me.

It's not paranoia if someone is actually out to get you... ;)

Weiters looked like a 10-year CHB in game 1.

Attended the game with a mate who understood the game well, but didn't follow the draft/kids.

He wouldn't believe me when I told him #23 has just turned 18....

If Hewett is out this week all of our 5 best mids have missed a game so far and 4 have been due to injury. Disgrace.

I don’t care if they are contact injuries or not Andrew Russells spot has to be put on notice
Hewett corked calf, Cerra covid can't do much about those.
Walsh had almost the first injury of his career and got back quicker than most with syndesmosis.
Kennedy soreness missed one and Cripps was precaution from hamstring awareness.

Yeap, I would blame him for the dodgy vindaloo too

I mock you with absurdist disdain.......

I think we might have better team balance with only 4 of them in the team, just quietly....

I would prefer to him to miss then Silvagni or McKay. Doesnt really impact our structure much as long as we still have the 4 mids.

If all 3 miss I think we may be in trouble. For all the talk of next man in even top teams struggle with more then a handful of injuries to their best 22. I think we are reaching our threshold.
