The boys are starting to play like men.

So many good players today - too many to name - but a big shout out to Boyd…I watched him live a couple weeks ago against Freo and came away thinking he wouldn’t make it at this level but after today I think I might have to admit defeat.

I really hope he can build on it because his use of the ball today on the overlap is exactly what we need to score from D50 which has historically been a problem for us…and just maybe he’s made of the good stuff given what’s he has been through to get to his AFL dream.

We are 6 and ****ing 2….

Great win
Would have happily taken that margin before the match…
Little disappointing we couldn’t go on with it in the last, looked like the boys had runout a little of petrol tickets…

Just on some of the youngsters and lesser known players for us tonight…

Young continues to get better still a few things to work on, important player for us atm…

Durdin great pressure tackling and turnovers, speed carry and disposal really good,, he’s a player…

Boyd great pressure, one on one very solid, win some important touches and contests at times..

DeKoning great game, terrific work around the ground, linked up well some good taps to advantage…

Carroll he’s so poised doesn’t panic touch of class about him,, going to be a great player…

Wonderful team effort…
Go baggers…

No, he's just a very limited footballer.

We need far better wings on both sides of the ground. It's a real deficiency in this team at present.

I'd hope we'll start drafting for that position going forward.
I really want LOB to succeed but feel his confidence got shot somewhere along the way (previous coaches) and it’s really limiting him now. He either starts to believe in himself (as Voss has shown great faith in him I think) or eventually someone will overtake him, right now that’s a certainty. That missed goal in the second sort of summed him up for me at this stage.

Solid effort and looks like we ran out of puff in the last. Charlie is a joy to watch, Kennedy was huge and Cripps was, as mentioned above, imperious. Liked Fisher's game and Durdin has a real spark. Not sold on Owies. Good pressure but for a noted basketballer, his marking and hands are a weakness. Just holding his place.

I've read about how Matthew Kennedy doesn't fit into our midfield, many highlighting his weaknesses while ignoring his strengths.

He is comfortably best 22, hard working mid who is a natural. Beautiful mark and kick.

Loved his game again.
His goal from the boundary was so good!

Any chance you can enjoy the win.

Oh we’re 4th on the ladder btw.

That was a solid win.

I thought pre-game, we are likely to win by 6 goals.

In the end we won by 48 points…
And yet, that’s a tad disappointing - I’m sure Vossy would agree - we want MOAR :D

Apart from that.
Six and two - finals bound baby!!!

If he had angled out a bit more away from the goal before kicking that, he would have nailed it. I do think that he needs to start learning how to kick with his right though. Fish has been working on, he doesn't do it often, but he is getting that into his library of skills.

How I learnt how to kick on my left was just muscle memory training. Learning to drop the ball with your opposite hand, the learning to connect to the ball. Then kicking it 5m, 10m, 20m... and so on. It did sort of help that I am about 60/40 ambidexterous :D

Love the dual threat Curnow provides. Competitive and strong in the air, deadly on the ground.

Thought De Koning was really good today. Reckon he’s worked really hard at his game and it’s starting to show.

Overall our tackling pressure was outstanding, we were just relentless suffocating them around the ball.

How good is to be a Blue Bagger right now! Years of pain making this oh so sweet.

Great leadership, Cripps and Doch in particular are killing it!

Tall and small forwards mixing it up.

Backline solid if not spectacular and supported by pressure up the ground.

Plenty going through the midfield and contributing, youngsters shining too.

Gravy players to finish off the hard yards

Grit players doing plenty of hard yards.

Feel like some zip and silk are there, might be a growth area.

Onwards and upwards.

4th with a bullet. Hard to miss finals now…
