I didn't watch the match but Jcpdragonx said on his podcast that he saw him holding his shoulder at half time, then hardly touched the ball in the 2nd half (after a solid 1st half)

This is sort of BS though...

If a 180k has the capacity for higher spike scores then they can still make you the 150k without needing a high overall average. They also have the capacity of making that 150k quicker with those higher spike score games than a 123k pleb who scores you 50 or so every week as a slow burn.

Yeah I would agree with that. He was still running around fine, so maybe it wasn't that bad. I'd say the game didn't go his way in the second half, don't think he was avoiding it.

Given it was pre-season you'd think if it was an issue he would have come off.

Gibcus is the problem. I don't want to pick him, but if he plays and neither Kemp or Boyd play for the blues I might have too. Think McCartin and SdK are safe to rely on.

It's saying .....if you select a $400K + player ....you're essentially doing so as a proposed "keeper" .....unless you think he'll average 110+ , trade
This doesn't factor in, the player being viewed as a "stepping stone"

FWIW, just a couple of notes on that list...

1) Ben Miller ($160K) will get a game before Biggie, his pre-season's been talked up constantly to the point he was more competing against Gibcus for a rd.1 slot than Biggie. He's a lockdown KPD so won't score well anyway, but may get a game if Grimes doesn't get up in time.

2) McComb is $102K, not $123K as listed.
