Hasn't been updated for a couple of days. I think there's a few more

I reckon we'll get:
SDK
McEntee, Joyce, MacDonald, CStephens
SHayes
JHayes, Martin, Baldwin

decent chance:
WKelly
Soligo, Hough, Mead
-
Dixon, NLong

enough to load up on cheapies and grab an extra premo :)
This from the bloke moaning about there being no rookies

This is ******* sexy

Hayes, Martin, Dixon, Joyce, Naish and possibly McComb all 102k round one starters. I mean, wow, when’s that even happened? That’s 120k to be saved and spent elsewhere.

That could be the difference in being able to afford a premo at M1 like getting Paddy Dow or not.

Naish won't be 102k, he played last season.

It would be freakin' amazeballs. You probably would still need some cash spare in case they need to be change before round 3 though. Likely a few spud it and/or get dropped.

Anyone else thinking of leaving sh#t all in the purse with all these expensive rooks? I’m picturing no correctional trades up in value early
Need a good mix of both I think. Save some money for corrections and select the more expensive rook so it's easy to drop back to the cheaper one.

Here‘s an alternative (unpopular) view.

Selecting high priced rookies is dangerous because they’ll score low and make <100k before being dropped. May be better to just select 123k non playing rooks on your bench that you think will get a game. Worst case scenario by Round 4-5 there will be debutants at that price.

Doubt I’ll take that approach but worth considering. Many take a loophole. Why not take 4-5 of them?

Freo not blessed with inside types.

Bray.
Fyfe.
Serong.
Maybe Mundy.

Then zero.

Issue is Fyfe has said he’s a full time mid this year. So is Braysh and Serong. Brodie isn’t a winger. Neither is Mundy.

What few minutes he’ll get left in the middle will also be subsidised by the 60% TOG he will feature in due to his poor tank.

You’d think Fyfe is the go to at all stoppages too and he will play 90% TOG from the get go, Braysh the next guy in. I’m not sure on Brodie.

C Stephen to Hough
NOD to Wornner (I'm assuming McComb will be named)

$200 left. I like it.

Who the **** is Worner?

Joyce will replace McComb whenever SC get their shit together (2068)

Yeah I just saw that on twitter.

All of Fyfe , Bray, serong are mids only.

Mundy can go foward.

No Fyfe in wizard cup unsure on Brodie role .

Surley Brodie can get mid time but unsure on what other roles he can do.

Brodie cannot play another role. But if a guy like Blakely can’t get a consistent crack in this side even though he’s an elite accumulator with limitations, I can’t foresee Brodie having a consistent enough role for 225k to make him worth his price tag.

Bloke reminds me of Brayden Sier, last mid in the rotation and low TOG%.

Must find a way to move Hewett to Sic (20k in bank)View attachment 1341749

Crowden had tonnes of CBAs and did sweet FA. He will get dragged before Brodie.

I’m not trialling for one or the other to be dragged but Fyfe will play 95% of Freo’s CB’s. Serong and Brayshaw will as well. That’s where Brodie is most influential. He’s slow after the contest and he’s not overly fit. He’s going to mix low TOG% with a foggy inside mid role where he won’t get the minutes he needs to be a consistent contributor. For 225k you want a well defined role, if he was doing this with Fyfe then all guns blazing but he didn’t.
