Pick 2 GWS - Aaron Cadman GWV Rebels

Easily the best KPP prospect in the draft and showed incredible sacrifice working on his forward craft, diet and nutrition, all the while working as a sparky in the family business. Welcome Aaron!

bird_man you're up!

Pick 3 - Geoerge Wardlow
The perfect JHF replacement. Explosive strong mid that will have an impact in his first season. May well be the best player in the draft

Pick 4 - Harry Sheezel
Sheezel brings a much needed point of difference to the Kangaroos. Another that will play plenty of footy his first year, Sheezel is an excitement machine that will also put some much needed bums on seats.

Hawthorn select Elijah Tsatas.

186cm/79kg
Oakleigh Chargers/Vic Metro
Midfielder
October ranking: 3

A foot fracture in the middle of the season halted Tsatas for two months but either side of that the midfielder produced some brilliant performances. He grew into an inside/outside midfielder in the early stages of the NAB League season, averaging 32 disposals in four games, before finishing the year with 34 disposals and a goal in Oakleigh's final game. Tsatas' one championships game was also influential with 30 disposals and five clearances. Tsatas can move – he is a run and carry player who makes an impact.

- Callum Twomey - Phantom Form Guide October Rankings #3

--------------------------------------------

Emerging as the premier loose ball winner in this draft, Tsatas is routinely first to the ball and takes the ball on the move at speed.

Averaging 33.8 disposals, 12.2 contested possessions, 8.2 inside 50s and 2.7 score assists in the NAB League, Tsatas is one of the most prolific accumulators, but also one of the competition's most damaging. Tsatas has an established reputation for the ease and speed with which he breaks the lines with his run and evasion of opponents on the move.

Elijah Tsatas in action for Vic Metro.
When given space on the outside, Tsatas is an elite ball user and places his kicks out in front of inside 50 targets to run onto. He also displays an innate ability to finish around goal, particularly when the ball hits the deck.

Due to a foot injury, Tsatas has missed a large portion of the season, including Vic Metro's first three Under-18 Championships matches. However, he has not missed a beat since returning from injury and in Metro's clash against Vic Country secured 29 disposals in a competitive performance.

Geelong is on the clock.

Pick 9 - Jedd Busslinger, East Perth.
196cm, 84kg, KPD

Best key defender in the draft and a local kid. Too good to pass on here. Has everything you want in a modern key defender and sets up the backline as the Eagles embark on a rebuild. Is an excellent interceptor with great skills and decision making so has everything you want in a modern day key defender.

Savage Kent you're up.

With Pick 10 the St Kilda Football Club selects..........Cameron MacKenzie

It was meant to be. The NGA right under our nose. Tall midfielder with the much needed skill, poise and character. Lenny and Banger to take him under their wings ooof. Looking forward to seeing him hit up Max with bullers out of the middle.

Holy [PLAYERCARD]Hunter Clark[/PLAYERCARD] over to you.

Seems top heavy hey? Hurn only has one year left, Barrass and Edwards are the future. McGovern is bigger than 187cm surely. Cole, Foley and Rotham are borderline 22 atm, and Bazzo is still young. It's not the most ridiculous take, but they wouldn't need anymore tall defenders.

The issue I see with the Eagles is that they have the same ageing profile with their midfielders.

Shuey is 32 and cooked
Gaff is 30 and fading
Yeo is 29 and breaking down
Tim Kelly is turning 29 next year and struggles as a main stay
Even Sheed will be 28 next year

Then they have got a raft of unproven middlers in Jai Culley, Greg Clark, Connor West, Zane Trew and Xavier O'Neill.

I honestly can't see them walking past a sliding quality mid like McKenzie.

But, fingers crossed hey.

EDIT: McGovern is 196cm

Eagles could throw McGovern or Barass forward next year as well.

Who knows what that 22 looks like week to week?

Pick 10

Oliver Hollands

Carlton go and pick up possibly the best 2-way running Mid of the draft pool. Is a great accumulating mid. Will be a great pairing with Walsh in the years to come.
This was a hard pick, but ended up going with the what think is the best available.

Tommy Wigs you’re up next mate.

Sorry for the the late reply been a big day.

McGovern is nearly cooked and Barrass will be nearing the end by the time Busslinger is really firing

Bazzo and Busslinger with Rotham as your 3rd tall has them set

They the have 12 to take a mid or tall forward
