Game Day 2022 SC Round 1 - Let's Get Ready To Ramble

It's that time of the year where we're about to hit crazy season on the board.

In order to keep some order around the place, I've locked all threads except the standard ones that we have during the season - refer #5. Will leave the rate my preseason thread going until final lockout.

Any new threads that don't fit in to the standard structure will likely end up merged with either an existing suitable thread, or the General Chat thread as a catch-all.

Good luck to everyone - this is one of the toughest years to pick a starting side that I can remember.

Aside from Steele and Whitfield, all my premos delivered, with some standout rookies really giving that extra boost.

Every team will have Rowell now. Luckily, I've got him in my draft league! Pretty good considering he was my 5th picked Mid and was occupying my bench spot until Yeo got injured.

Few premos didn’t live up to expectation Rd 1, but I’ll stick tight with them.
Happy with my SC teams start, unhappy with my AFL teams start.

Players who were in my team at the end of the week: Steele (C), Gawn, Ridley, Berry, Brodie (who was fine, but still).

I'm sure some of them will bounce back, but ****ing yikes. I'm just gonna live off my accomplishments from last year for a lil longer.

Don't get me started on Crisp and Shitfield either

Crisp, Whitfield, Steele and Gawn let me down. Unfortunately got a lot of big decisions wrong, ignoring Ward being just about the only one I got right.

Highest score I’ve seen in any of my leagues is a whopping 2565.

Wrapped with the start. Berry and Hinge throwing disappearing acts after half time wasn’t ideal. Ward situation will need to be looked at. Hopefully Hodor is back next week and Whitfield comes good. Be nice of Short to play 4 quarters next week and for Brodie to not sit out the last 15 minutes.
Brought Brodie in so I didn’t have to field Martin. Oops.
