The more Darcy Tuckers we have the less shitmen get games. And by crikey we have plenty still to move on.

He had an interesting 2019, 421 disposals and 81 tackles.

Bailey Scott had 36 tackles last season, no not a go at him, just a comparison is all. Tucker is a hard runner, quick and has neat skills. So I can see why we're interested.

His last season averages include two games unused sub and a few were he didn't see much game time.

I like this move.

This is where I'm at. Hearing a lot of "He's too slow, he's a receiver, he's too old, he's not the type we want etc..." Christ. Look at our list! It's awful. Anyone who can come in and push some of the many potatoes out of our 22 each week is a start.

Jackson and Bruhn request trade back to there home state after their first contract with no negative attention for corn and co.
But the possibility of HF going the same way is enough to set fire and brimstone at us a year and a half out.

Yep, the double standards are ridiculous.

The point is he isn’t a significant upgrade the bloke has been in the system 5 years and avgs 15d a game I don’t care how good your skills are if you can’t get the pill.

Bringing in players like this just caps any potential.

Surely someone on the list can replicate that output

Was actually Jackson's second deal as he signed a one year extension.

Yep , I have gone through our list and can find 8/9 players that would get a game in finals teams. Two of those are first year players. JFH/Curtis.

We then have about 12 unknowns of which TT is one.

Get as many players as we can get our hands in the off season. I thought we may improve organically next season but after watching the finals, we're too slow and poorly skilled. McKay is the only defender who can play one on one, crikey that's bad.

If we don't I think 23 is going to be similar to this year. We won two games, one on the back of covid and the other due to horrendous goal kicking. 11 more scoring shots, we should have been thumped.

We are as bad a side as there has been in a very long time.

It isn't all bad news as I feel the majority of the 12 I mentioned will be good footballers. They need time and support, and they won't find that support from around 15 currently on our list.

So after all these names we're going to end up with just Tucker? 😬

The point is...there isn't!! We've won 7 of our last 59. We are a terrible football team. Lots of players have had lots of chances and played lots of crap. Some will have to stay on the list through necessity. Fair enough. But I don't want them playing regular AFL football unless absolutely necessary. Tucker is no star, but probably better than what we have, and not scarred by 3 years of hopeless coaching. Clarko would back himself to develop players like him and find a role. If we only target flawless players then we'll end up with nothing.

I think the club will show what their gut feel is about JHF (staying or going end of 2023) during this up coming trade period .
Because If we end up trading future first & or 2nd rounders for next season .
I feel the club is almost expecting him to go & we will get these picks back via his trade next season.

Just seen Freo dont have a second round pick or a 3rd round pick this year. Is that correct?

They might be rooted
They have pick 14 and that's it over the first 4 rounds.

Edit: Might be picks 13 and 72 after finals. What I looked at was after round 23.

He it would seem can stick a tackle and kick a goal from around 50 out, probably makes him rather rare on our list unfortunately.

Bonar, Mahony, Lazzaro, Turner, Bergman, Archer, Perez, Phillips, Spicer and Powell.

Tucker is in better shape to AFL than those I just listed and of course for a variety of reasons. Which include I'm not saying they're all no good.
Some just aint ready, some are terrible and so on.
