Keanes game suits AFL in 2023, Borlases doesn't. But that's just my opinion. Show me a 194 cm 100 kg defender who is comfortable on both feet, has good hands and excellent spatial awareness. He just need to bust a few packs now and move more directly forward rather than sideways or forty five degrees. I like him a lot. Borlase is a decent SANFL prospect, nothing more. And that ain't bad, just not useful to where we are headed.

One last thing, Keane has an extra ten metres on his right leg than JB. The boy has power.
I've been really unimpressed with Keane's one-on-ones. He's struggled in defensive contests. I don't think his form demands him being anywhere near the AFL side.

That sucks for Cook. Effectively a one week suspension.

Should be Crouch as the emergency, which would also free up a midfield spot for Dowling in the SANFL.

We've rarely used an out of favour senior or likely delistee as the travelling non-playing emergency

Always made sure the Patrick Wilsons on the list get their full game in the midfield each week, right up until the day they're let go

Haven't been following the snaffle this year, what happened to Hately? Seemed to be doing well last year in the firsts but has been non existent this year. Injuries?

Hately seems to be struggling to get involved the last few weeks, from the stats at least, is he playing more outside the contest at the moment so we can fit Crouch and Brown into the centre square alongside Schoenberg and Berry?
