And 7 of those AFL games were as starting sub, so 9 full games across both grades for the year, not ideal. If only we had a veteran player on our list who had shown that he can make an impact late in games that we could've used instead...

Yeah maybe not but could say the same re lots of players from each club that haven’t locked down a spot yetI don't see a future at AFL and we have much greater areas of need.
He was travelling emergency a few times too (the worst role in football). And 7 of those AFL games were as starting sub, so 9 full games across both grades for the year, not ideal. Yep, I'm no massive fan of McHenry but no player is turning those cards into a winning handAnd 7 of those AFL games were as starting sub, so 9 full games across both grades for the year, not ideal. Too many at AFL level. How many full games of football did Ned play this season (at either level)?
Disagree. I thought Cook showed a lot of class today.Only one of our players that played today will definitely make it at AFL level and thats Nankervis
Most showed little when there was heat in the game before sturt ran out of petrol
Next Berry, Cook, Dowling maybe but only maybe and the rest not likely to not happening. Was very disappointed woth today. I know no Strachan, Crouch, Schoey but seriously should have done better than that.
Cook should have played more than 1 game this yearDisagree. I thought Cook showed a lot of class today.
Does everyone know that in the AFL the umpires receive constant communication from the umpire official? The insufficient attempt decisions are almost always paid by the umpire via their headset. It’s why there is always a pauseLast touch takes out the subjectivity and makes each OOB decision objective. All umpires have moments of inconsistency, incompetence and downright favouritism- anything that takes that away is good
PA just can't get rid of that number.AFC and the Power both kicked 11.9 today.
If that’s true it’s still a subjective interpretation by an umpire and prone to errorDoes everyone know that in the AFL the umpires receive constant communication from the umpire official? It wasn't knocked out in the tackle or is this rule different in the SANFL?Not how that rule works
I am talking about the 40m kick that goes forward and rolls over the line.
Plenty of them in an AFL game.

Fair enough, but I disagree. The game stopping while a boundary umpire runs over, the ruckmen and midfielders set themselves and a throw in happens, which mostly ends up straight in the middle of congestion - I'm not going to campaign to remove it, but the ball immediately being kicked in offensively is more interesting from my perspective.Nah shocking when you have players not competing wanting the ball to go out
And we need to keep the all sizes of players inc rucks and the skill st throw ins
Just less of them which insufficient intent sorts out
I'm not a massive fan, but he was very good today. Showed a lot of spirit as well.I'd pay Parnell out and create another list spot personally.

I wonder if other SANFL teams' supporters are as bad.Wow I grew up at Unley oval and called most of the greats Uncle but that was a long time ago - some of the Sturt supporter’s yesterday were horrid - I was called a w anchor for calling a holding the ball - and the crew sitting behind us constantly making comments about how every Crow player earns more than their entire team.
Great comeback win letsgo
-possibly worse -I wonder if other SANFL teams' supporters are as bad.

Most definitely. Looked good yesterday. That gun Murphy is keeping him out.Cook should have played more than 1 game this year
I reckon he may made one bad error in first half which made a massive imprint on your mindIn the second half..
in the first half he and hamill were terrible.
both lucky they managed to redeem themselves.. but we would won by a hell of a lot more if they hadn’t have done so many stupid things in that first half.
