Spreading this around a bit further. Trying out a new format so feedback welcome. I'll try and do packages in this style for at least the top 10 guys before the draft.

Yeah this is great mate, perfect format for the top 10 or so like you said. I do love the full clips of the individual games the best just to see all a players interactions good or bad. But this for an ‘overview’ on a player is spot on.

Thanks for your work 😍 I think we’ll all be keeping an eye out for your Sanders & Watson cuts who seem most likely at our pick. Also out of interest do you have any more Croft CTL games available?

I've been meaning to do more Croft games, I do have the source footage for at least a couple more. It'll probably have to wait until after the draft though, these player profile vids take longer to put together so they'll be occupying my time over the next couple of weeks.

Also new Sanders upload is worth a watch:

Shows off a bit more of his power, willingness to spread, agility & kicking skills than other games.

I think I’m sold on this kid, Watson would be fun and I’ll still be stoked with him as he could be anything but damn Sanders is the full package. Such a complete midfielder - I get the concerns over his handball happy attitude but IMO that just looks like a mindset thing, he’s more than got the skills to be a more well rounded inside/outside mid at AFL and if you unlock that in him you’ve probably got yourself a bargain.

Gimme the Colonel, rebuild the midfield from scratch. Our forward line already has the assets required.

I've seen this one before and it was a big selling point after previously been swayed by some negative talk about his ceiling. It shows his kicking, while not having the most depth, is targeted. Sometimes it's a bit loopy but that can be a good thing for forwards as smashing it down their throats can be hard to mark.

He gets involved with the run and his pace doesn't hold him back while he uses other skills to buy time.

His handballs are all constructive releasing the ball from packs or releasing other players into space. This is not a Daniel Cross at his worst 'I'll get the ball but won't damage you with my disposals' type of 30+ possession game.

I'd say the main selling point for me would be his vision and execution. Reminds me some of Libba. So what if he can't boot it 60m forward while running at pace? We have that with Smith and more often than not a defender is going to gobble those up. I'll take a player that can find a team mate in space or at least put the ball to advantage every time.

Johnno would be odds on for us i'd say, or Chris Grant. Can't imagine anyone else getting the gig.
Clay Smith? Former first round pick, bullgod, crazy eyes. Perfect

It's hard to see in a highlights video but he's "light on his feet" at stoppages which helps his evasiveness too

That one line pretty much nailed it for me.... It's exactly how I feel.

It won't be long until the draftees are led on stage through a shroud of artificial smoke and laser lights holding the hand of a little monkey dressed in team colours.

Id actually watch that.

The actual drawn out snooze fest of the draft. Not so much.

Apart from the JHF comparisons I’m also seeing similarities with Buddha Hocking.

You provide a great service to us interested in the draft crop.

You are most welcome on here anytime my friend. Excellent work. Kudos. :rainbow:

Anybody else who would be disappointed if we ended up with Watson? He looks quite weak and his disposal/goal accuracy is below average.

Sanders looks leagues better and would a fill a huge need for us.

If you have to say what are some positions of need are, what are they?
BPA is always my pick, but if you have the chance to pick Sanders who can play inside mid while also filling out on the wing or Curtin who can play KPD and inside mid you do it.
Watson is small fwd.....between flea, arty and Clarke we need experience in that position, not another top end pick.
We used 3 1st round picks on this draft, a lot of draft captial. Only my thoughts but McKercher if he drops, followed by Sanders and Curtin.

we can forgive Sanders for this, yeah?
I would have said it would be best case scenario since we wouldn't have to hear shit like, "he was a Hawks supporter growing up" come contract time, but we will be hearing all about how he is going back to Tassie so it doesn't really matter.

I'd say Watson could be a better winger than Sanders.
