An all time great grand final tainted by horrific umpiring throughout it.

The free kicks to a ducking Daicos in the first half when no one else could buy a free, the lack of identical frees to Brisbane, and that all time bad advantage call.

Collingwood won so the AFL will sweep it under the rug. A rampaging Pies team is good for business.

I'm not saying it completely decided the game, Brisbane missed 4 shots in a row and that 50 conceded by Berry was mind-numbingly stupid for Sideys goal.... but I can't enjoy the game with the umpiring that inept.

hats off to the pies for that, they played well (especially bobby hill, he kept them in it in the 2nd) just played better when it mattered.

with that said, that advantage call was horrible, lyons was getting tackled, didn’t even know it was a free kick. what advantage did he have? ridiculous

Collingwood players are hard to tackle as they quickly zip this way and that way. Even Tom Mitchell is now doing it. Our players only seem to run in straight lines. We need to learn stuff like this.
