The average person off the street is more qualified to be on our board than Cos Cardone. Anybody who isn't employed by an influential man who is actively and publicly fighting directly against our club's interests would be an upgrade.

I meant from a resume perspective but yes that too.

We've done literally the same thing as 17 other clubs, with the added benefit of seeing how others did things because we were the last to go through. Nothing innovative. Nothing new.

Nothing more than rolling out a pre-trialled, pre-tested model within a pre-existing framework.

If anyone in the AFLW world deserves accolades, it's whomever pulled together the Crows original bid proposal, which included the linkup with the NT zone, poaching of 'our' previously anointed 'captain', and netted themselves 3 flags in 5 years.

We've lowered the bar so much that even mediocrity would be an improvement.

I don't see how our AFLW entry can be considered anything other than a failure at this point. We're miles behind the 8 ball, and I guess we use China as an excuse for that, but It's so frustrating that we never learn.

We saw how hard it was when the Crows got a head start on us in men's football and we gifted them another significant head start, where they've use our favourite daughter to be the clearcut best team in the league.

Do we have good people in place now? Probably. But i'm not sure how it could be called successful.

He has been trying that for a couple of years now but all Koch does is laugh at him and belittle him.

There are people in this thread who have very good information and have actually played an active part in pushing Tredders towards a board position.

Everyone who seriously wants the club to be back in the business of winning premierships should be 100% supportive of Tredders joining the board.

I can't agree with the laughing bit TK as I expect the kokmeister's ego is that large any public criticism would hurt, the problem there is that Tredders is the only one doing it, and we obviously need other past players to get involved and rattle his cage as well.

As for belittling Tredrea, if the numerous comments on here particularly after his go away and learn about the club BS are anything to go by he probably belittled himself as much, or even more than he did Warren.

The above aside Warren Tredrea is definitely the right person for a board role as the person to get the club back to its core values, and as has already been suggested by others I too expect he would be `a shoe in!' to top the member's vote if he can be convinced to have a crack.

Director Kathy Nagle’s 3-year term is complete, and Mrs. Nagle is eligible to renominate.

Nominations for the position on the Board of Directors must be delivered to the Returning Officer in the manner described on the Nomination Form.

Nominations open at 9am on the 22nd of November 2023, and close at 5.00pm on the 6th of December 2023.

Last year when the womens team played over here (Perth) I was catching up with a mate at the hotel they were staying at. They were called into the conference room for a presentation by Ransome.

It lasted an hour and when they came out, it was a sea of uniformly glazed eyes and dazed expressions from every one of them, as two of the women (I won't ID which two) one said to the other "I didn't understand a single thing she said" and the other said "me either."

About a minute later Ransome came past us and the expression on her face screamed zealot!

That's what we are dealing with.

To vote you have to be a 2023 financial member.

Im not sure what the situation is if you didnt buy a 2023 membership, but have bought a 2024 membership before voting starts.

They always send an email to vote electronically with the link, since voting went online.
