To vote you have to be a 2023 financial member.

Im not sure what the situation is if you didnt buy a 2023 membership, but have bought a 2024 membership before voting starts.

They always send an email to vote electronically with the link, since voting went online.
Glad I ended up getting a 3 game membership this year. My gir.s and I will be voting 1 Warren Tredrea.

Thanks REH again. I had a rethink and remembered you answered the first time I asked!

I guess nothing can stop you ringing up the membership department and asking if I sign up for 2024 before Christmas, after not signing up for 2023, can I vote in the up coming election??

Do the Ronnie Raygun and Joe Biden and Trust but Verify, and then when you are confident they know what they are talking about if they say yes, you say, I want to sign up because I want to vote for Warren Tredrea,

If they are inundated by this type of call, they will get the message.

I'm a 2023 member so I can vote based on your info. Tossing up whether to place 2024 on hold until he's gone. Got two days to decide.

This is wonderful because it finally gives us some agency.

Koch will try to torpedo this so it's up to us to push Tredders hard. It might be the only positive thing you can do for the club. Get in the ear of your membership holding friends and family, and make sure they know how important this is to the fabric of the club. We're the grassroots doorknockers of this campaign and we don't just want a win, we want it to be comprehensive.

Shoutout to all of the people who have made this happen. Job's not finished though, we need everyone who is eligible to vote for Warren. It is time our Club reconnects with its supporter base. We are the people who make the Club go - they have conveniently forgotten that without us, they are nothing, insignificant ants amongst a giant Earth.

Koch had an opportunity to look like a king last year and to put Warren on the Board by a Captain's call. It would have been an easy decision to make - it allows Koch to take credit for getting the Club's best player back involved at the Club which would have been great for his ego if nothing else. Furthermore, the positive PR the Club would have gotten just made it a no-brainer. Instead, Warren was told (by virtue of Koch's speech at the AGM in February) to learn about the Club. It was a back handed slap to a Club legend who Koch had privately ignored for the better part of 4+ months because he had no substance by which to reject Warren's initial presentation to David on the advice of former Director Darren Cahill.

Instead Koch had a throw away comment at that AGM - advising Warren to nominate for the Board for a members-elected Director position in December. It was in many ways a comment to shut any media discussion around Warren for close to 12 months. It was much like Koch's throw away comment on 5AA about Hinkley when he said the Club would review his contract in August - nothing else but a comment to try to stop the white noise from putting further pressure on the Club at such an early point in the season. Instead, it bit the whole Club in the arse.

Maybe Koch hoped that by the time nominations came round that Warren wouldn't want to nominate. I know for a fact that the Club has in recent times encouraged Warren privately to focus on his own career and not the Club right now. They are shitting themselves that he gets involved, because they all will be accountable to the "leader" of the very white noise the Club has done everything it possibly could do to distance itself from and ignore at all costs.

This has the potential to be a watershed moment for the Club. Think Sticks Kernahan at Carlton type impact. The fans (members) finally have an opportunity to have a voice at our Club. Vote, and make it count.
