We didn’t get gifted 3 first rounders PPs the same year we got pick 3 for Frawley

Frawley is a gun Mckay is a dud. We lost somebody who can actually footy.

The 'quality' of the player doesn't really impact the compo tho. It's the age, contract size etc.

If you wanna get angry at something it should be the Bombers for paying this 'dud' so much, or the AFL as a whole for their compo pick formula.

Steven May's comments from the other day (better than Collingwood) likely reflects the complacency of the club leadership, coaching and recruitment staff. They think just a few minor tweaks and the premiership will be in the bag.

Annoying that this club never appears to be connected to anyone worthwhile during the trade period, but other clubs continue to peck away at Melbourne's list and players depart for unders/nothing. The two grand finalists have had more action than Melbourne to date (if you exclude all of the Oliver discussion from last week).

But when North didn't even offer him a contract, them getting pick 3 is ridiculous. Dodee or what ever getting a first rounder too is just silly

I don’t think Tim Lamb is up for it. Seems to always just go for the easy fall-on-our-lap deals.

Method is a far bigger issue than personnel.

I reckon the biggest issue is bed-shitting and panty-wetting.

Out players do not demonstrate a professional level of equinimity. There is no belief, only fear and this results in choking.

Why are they such a bunch of mental pygmies. Is it a lack of confidence in out gameplan? Too much bathwater? Why do our mids bomb it long to a pack on the rare occasion there are players free in the forward 50?

The only thing we are “clutch” at is f@&$ing things up. It sucks.

Nothing like sitting back watching clubs like Brisbane and Essendon bring in guys free and then their respective players source clubs being strengthened with picks on the overs fabricated out of thin air at the expense of every other club.
