Sad to see Stephens go. There have been glimpses of why he was pick 5 with that clutch goal in the final v dees in 2022 coming to mind. In between, there has been alot of tentative play, at times almost second guessing himself. It was very symptomatic of a player who was constantly worried about his spot. If he can secure his position in North's best 22, I reckon we might see the best of him.
After last year, I felt he finally solidified his position in the team. It's sad it didnt work out for him, and sad our pick 5 didn't quite live up to it's hype. All the best to Dyl at the Roos.

We used pick 5 for him & it hasn't worked out. It's not a win from our end.

Happens not every high pick works. Get a second and it’s nit the end of the world

Just hope he is dedicated
Grundy?
Yeah he's super dedicated alright... To his paycheck and his lifestyle.

As soon as he signed his 7 year deal at the Pies his performance and effort fell off a cliff. Was always super over-rated in his prime anyways. Now he's just a sad shadow of that.
Buyer beware Swans

He’ll have a point to prove and we won’t have to pay three arms an a leg at the trade table

Our best ruckman for 30 years?

I know medical science is advancing rapidly, but I have to confess, I harbour some concerns if our list management strategy revolves around a 60 year old Grundy carrying the ruck load come 2053 😋.
FFS, he will only be 59.

Some people are making out that if Grundy plays 30 years he will be sexagenarian and will barely be able to run around the ground. It’s ridiculous!!

Yet You continue to peddle the draft here and 18 yr old unknowns opposed to every mature AFL Trade mentioned as a possibility.

At least he was rated in the area where he was taken that’s all you can ask
