Too see a wingman and an injured one at that get back on the line and get a touch in those two crucial moments was just huge.

How hard Acres works back is incredible and then to be on the end of the match sealer up the other end whilst clearly winged was just off the charts bravery/determination.

A true Blue hero in the making we have here.
Yep. This bloke is outrageously good.

He is a monster. I’m not sure there is another player in the AFL that can actually do the the things Acres does, he is incredibly unique.

He will go down in Carlton folklore for his bravery last night. And gee his teammates would have so much respect for him after what he put his body through to get the result.

Sensational player.

I love you all!

What a fantastic night, went with my brother and uncle and the atmosphere at the game was incredible. Was lucky to sit around such a good group of fellow supporters too, shout out to Louis and his partner, was a pleasure.

Without doubt, this season is officially a success.

From here, I'm just going to enjoy the ride and savour every bit of this finals campaign.

Bring of the Demons and up the Baggers!

I really think that win will be huge for our development. I know listening to Horse that he is blaming their goal kicking but we were the ones that missed from point blank.

This was massive for the group, I just feel so happy for our loyal players like Cripps and Weitering. Listening to Weits, he is a great talker and such an important player in our team.
We also have up 3 goals from inside 50 turnovers , let alone the two misses from H.

Longmire can go & coach the cricket team.

******* massive!!! Atmosphere was electric. To do that against a finals hardened team will do wonders for them. Had the best time with Sinjin Snr. Honestly we were all over them for three qtrs. The intensity has returned just some sloppy mistakes. We gifted Sydney 4 goals from brain fades.

My votes

Saad 3
Weitering 2
Martin 1

Saad just was in the right place at the right time all of the time. Weitering was a brick wall and marshalled the defence. Martin is just so strong for his size, saved the game going down back in the last 10 min. Master-stroke from Vossy.
We’ve got a great team now with stars everywhere and roll players getting it done.

Coin = dropped.

So much upside - Harry and Charles will click one day, our rebound transition game will get better.

TDK will be a star.

We should be much freer next week - first final nerves gonesky.

It’s an interesting one. I’ve seen several praising him and saying Weitering was beaten… but I mostly saw it the other way around. Marchbank had a few good courageous moments, but is often beaten out of position and not great with the ball. He got cleanly out marked by a smaller man at least once last night. I feel he’s a real vulnerability, whereas I see Weitering as a wall that teams have to go around to score. He usually beats his man and helps everyone else out.

Maybe I’m taking my bias in and seeing only things that confirm my view. Shrug.

Obviously I want any and all of our guys to be great, but I don’t see it with Marchy and I don’t quite trust him. Weitering I absolutely trust.
Agree with this.
Unfortunately Lewis Young lost the plot some time back so they are going with Marchbank as the one who takes the 2nd/3rd tall forward. He makes me bloody nervous every time he gets the pill. Slow to react as well. I think we have to keep persisting.
