Insanity not playing Motlop… multiple goal kicking threat and aside from Curnow, dragged us over the line in our game against gold coast.

4 tall backs 2 rucks and 2 tall forwards. Looks too tall to me. Hope i’m wrong

Voss has clearly gone for experience and big bodies. I can see the logic, especially against the always physical Swans in a final that's likely to be played in the wet...it will be a contest heavy game.

Would have liked to see motlop who can kick goals from nothing, but Fog and Cunners have merit for the position. Owies wasn't getting dropped.

We aren't too tall. Sydney are playing a ruck and 3 tall forwards, similar to us. Down back, Gov and Kemp are basically more medium talls given their ability to run.

Nah I’ll post in here for your eyes only ….. I see the biggest bias cheat isn’t umpiring this game …. Good start …. Yeah.
I actually envy you - how much easier it must be concentrating on 4 performances only rather than 36 like most fans - go you....

Not bad tbh.

Going in with 2 rucks could be a big mistake but I understand wanting Mckay to play deep. 2 key forwards with a resting ruck makes sense.

I probably would of had Fisher instead of Cincotta and Dow instead of Marchbank.

Hollands omission makes sense. You want mature bodies in finals. Acres and Cotters fit that perfectly.
Marchbank frees up Gov to be more attacking. He's a better lockdown defender than Gov and plays with a level of toughness that is highly rated amongst his peers and staff.

Cincotta is a pure competitor. He would bleed on that field for his team mates and the club. The team selected has largely focused on this. It's a team built for the grit of finals, especially in potential wet weather footy, highly contested ball conditions.

A few unlucky guys and a very tough sub call. Dow and Motlop have one natural position which makes them harder sub picks. Think since we've gone quite tall, Hollands or Fisher make most sense as sub for the extra run. Fish probably gets the nod because he can play across three lines if required. Overall pretty happy with the selected team. Would have been way too risky to bring Kennedy or Boyd back and expect them to pick up the speed of the game after a long lay off.

Couldn't give two shits who is in or out. I trust the coaching panel and selection committee to pick the side they think will win the game.

Go Baggers!!!
