By contrast CAs streaming service for the Sheffield Shield is great. Even the AFL streaming of VFL games has commentators and not dickhead numpties.

Nobody beats the commentators for the European Cup cricket. It's like two people having a beer in a lounge room. Very entertaining.
Except when they do that "jibber jibber jibber MAXIMO!!!" thing, every time some pub cricketer slogs one over the 35m cow-corner boundary.
It helps when you are drinking as much as they seem to be.

I compared Kane Cornes to Tucker Carlson last year and got absolutely howled down, as though I was comparing their moral compasses or something.
They have the exact same business model though.
Maybe I'm somewhat different but I enjoy listening to Kane. Unlike many others in the industry he says what he feels. Whether it be right or wrong he sticks to his convictions.

That's the problem though, he almost has no convictions at all. He gets busted contradicting himself on an almost weekly basis because his views aren't rooted in anything except the desire to shock.
