I know its a pointless discussion but the AA team is so ******* weird.

Sicily and Stewart are basically the same player, no second ruck (not even a forward who can ruck) and two deadset accumulators on the bench.

Its not even a Roma thing cause he was fringe with Jackson for second ruck anyway but its such a weird unbalanced team.

The Dally M team of the year is much better. Essentially names the best player in each position and it makes sense.

i don't mind the Champion Data team, I think their algorithms are getting better and at least they will tell you why.

I get it, but any team without Wilkie in it can GAGF. Best two way defender in the game.

He's a great player don't get me wrong it's just the AFL landscape tend to over rate players just because they rack up disposals.

There is a bit of that. On the flip side N.Daicos more in the over rated category because he's playing for the pies.

Most coaches don’t go out on their own terms - unless you’re Dimma with an exit and re-entry plan in your back pocket .

Yes, the manner in which he was ousted at the Saints was not great for him, but he’s had years in a coaching career that few get a chance at, and he’s coached at three clubs. I’m not sure he’d have too many regrets.

He seems a good man. He’ll probably be picked up again in some club capacity, if he chooses to stay in footy.

But let's be real here. Ratts came to us as an assistant knowing full well Richo was probably on his way out and was ready to dive in if it happened. That's footy.... so all this poor Ratts talk is a bit meh for me

Just most probably to nice to be a coach , just comes across as being a really good guy.

He has made some blunders this year but who doesn't , he has been with us now going on to his 4th yr and the previous 3 had been very serviceable.
Last year we had him or Joyce , this year we are stronger having Cordy and Howard.

Like I think some people see his stats and pass him off as simply a stat passer. Some of his kicks are incredible.

Wanted to get sainters thoughts on an MCC membership and whether it's worth the cost. Im in WA (so a bit out of the loop with it all) but moving to melb next year and ive been offered provisional. Ive flicked through other forums with mixes of fans from other clubs but the posts are a few years old and Im particularly after a St Kilda fans perspective, especially as we only have a few games at the G a year. Would appreciate any guidance from current MCC sainters and their experience.

How did you get this provisional offer? I thought you had to go on the waitlist to get into provisional membership in 20 years time?

Yeah thats correct I was put down at birth fortunately.

I was offered MCC membership when I was 18 and didn't take it up and regret it now.

Any particular reason why you regret it? Will be a big help, cheers.

Been a Provisional member for 6 years, have paid off the joining fee and am waiting to become a restricted member.

Does cost a bit and I don't really use it that much, but as I have just retired, will use it much more.

Currently $422 a year and the $1000 odd dollars to become restricted, paid off over time if you like.

Going to the game on the weekend at the G by using my card.

Provisional is very restricted. No blockbuster games, ANZAC day, two Melbourne team finals etc
