"says Maynard would've had no more than 400 milliseconds to respond."
Lol
Managed to tuck his arms in and clean him up
Make it 4 weeks now
Just because
Brayshaw after realising it was his fault all along and he shouldn't have "veered into Maynard's path"...
When I first seen the Maynard incident my gut feel was he should get off he’s jumped to smother and hit him in the head accidentally on the way down it’s just a footballing incident not malicious.
I wasn’t to fussed if he got off or got weeks.
After watching the Eddie and Jimmy podcast and listening to McGuire defend him I could’ve spewed up and I was desperately hoping he got rubbed out.
The tribunal is so inconsistent.
I agree, but I had been thinking today when I saw Brayshaw's brother talking about the hit potentially ending Gus' career and the AFL must be very careful because from that hit alone could be legal repercussions.More inconsistent bullshit from the tribunal, Maynard was always going to get cleared though after the media boys club went into bat for him
some of the lies he's coming out with are hilarious... should have just said "cant have been me, wasnt at the ground"
Its the weird thing about the Tribunal and shows the complete lack of conviction from the AFL.Looking at the replay again Maynard eyes never left Brayshaw from the time he left the ground ... he knew where he was .... and I would think it was pretty obvious that there was a very real chance of a collision .... even if Brayshaw didn't move ever so slightly off line Maynard still would have crashed into him
So this 4 hundredths of a second or the unconscious decision to bring his arms in and point his shoulder is a load of elephant s**t because Maynard had plenty of time to assess the situation .... once Maynard left the ground and he could have kept his arms outstretched to soften the impact knowing a collision was inevitable ...... a biomechanist could have easily argued this point but the Tribunal / Christian got the reasoning that suited their quite obvious "nothing to answer for" agenda and were quite happy to clear based on one way evidence ..... they didn't even want to charge him in the first place
Complete farce
