Trade: McAdam

Ret: Sloane, McAsey, Seedsman

Del: McPherson, Hately, Newchurch, Brown

It's interesting with list spots as we are not going to pass on a second round pick (probably not a high 3rd round either).

Given we currently have a first round, two second rounds and talk we might want to bring our 2024 first pick forward we must be confident we can bundle picks together to move up.

I doubt we trade McAdam. We wouldn't get back a pick anywhere near his value. Given the development and time we put into him, he's more valuable to us than what other teams will offer.

Hard to see Doedee getting a high enough offer from another club that needs him given he'll be out a decent chunk of next season.

I suspect it'll be McAdam who makes the decision that he wants out. After all, there really isn't a lot of reasons to stay at the moment, seeing he'll be a 6th-7th forward here (+ we've shown a willingness to flick him back to the SANFL) and there are bankable best 22 jobs elsewhere.

I think Doedee will just be a case of getting him off our books. Similar scenario to Talia a couple back, we've seen the post-Doedee world and honestly, it's not half bad. Worrell has been an upgrade, so far.

He hasn't played many SANFL games out. He's been absent mainly from suspension and injury, with gaining match fitness thrown in.

Yep, would not surprise me if we only have 1-2 live picks on draft night, any others used for rookie upgrades.

If Doedee goes, reckon we package up that with our other second-rounders in either a trade or a move up.

McAsey and Seedsman.

Replaced by Keane and Brown.

If Brown goes- net one rookie spot?
Or if Keane is a rookie, net one main list spot.

2 more from Sloane and Hately.

1 rookie from McPherson.

Wait and see on Crouch and Doedee.

Speaking of Talia, he was at the ground last night wearing a Crows scarf, so I assume all is forgiven

Came over Saturday morning along with Razor and a couple other umpires. Surprisingly sat in a standard economy seat which surprised me 😆.

Surely Crouch gives us the FU and goes to another club. I would.

For the record: I was one of those who couldn’t understand his selection. Good on the bloke for proving a lot of us wrong.

None of them wanted Crouch either. He's decently lucky he was even on an AFL list in 2023.
