Well we did our best he only missed 3 games since the start of 2020 when JL took over.

Ross only played him 7 games in 2019 in his rookie year.

Considering how hard Sydney went after Naughton, and are rumoured to go afte JUH next year, they clearly don't seem to rate McDonald that highly.

Don't want to trade the futures. At worst they hold their value and both could increase significantly depending on next year.


I'm completely convinced the Swans don't entertain trading Logan this year regardless (within reason) of what we offer them.

Agree - let's just hit next year with a good hand.

It's a stand off at the moment because whichever side of Sydney or Freo go public with their approach for the player first pays the most for them.

If JUH comes out and requests a trade to Sydney then Logan to Freo happens quick and easy to fund that transfer from the Dogs.
If McDonald asks to come to Freo then Sydney bleed Freo for max value and then approach the Dogs for JUH.

you need one in a 3 year period.

So if we go for Logan we will offer the first and third pick in the order and a f2 if we are talking what it takes to get it done

That's 100% true and an important issue for the club at a holistic level, but taken in isolation this seems to be a fair trade and we got decent value
