Hello Dockers fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

Our ITK posters are still saying Sharp is coming, as far as I'm concerned that's good enough for me.

It doesn't matter if Walls and Bell aren't bringing him up, because he's not getting traded in.

Yeah I thought it was weird that Walls would even say that “we won’t trade for Sharp this year”. Why even discuss him if he wasn’t on our radar. Clearly they are confident of getting him over in some other way. Also the fact Sharp is overseas enjoying a break tells me he is happy that his future is sorted. Hopefully all this means he will be a Docker in 2024

Not a rumour... This is fact. Seen the video. Involves McStay and his wife doing marital stuff in a toilet. Apparently Ginnivan filmed it

Video looked a lot more like Darcy Cameron than dan McStay...

Think people are just taking things and running with it, mcstays hair ain't that short on top, Darcy Cameron on the other hand...

As I attempt to work my way out of my personal trough of disillusionment, I regularly look at our 2013 rebuild. We had very few early draft picks and we used the rookie draft with incredible success for many years. For the GF side, 14 of 22 we're pick 40 or later, 8 of 22 we're rookie draft picks, only 3 of 22 we're pick 10 or less. It gives me hope Walls could possibly pluck the eyes out of late draft picks - draft a goal sneek (Delean, Moir, Sanchez) add some outside run and skill - (Joe F, Fonti, oDris, A Schon, Hastie, Torrent) and a junkyard dog (Hall). For KPD depth, I wouldn't mind Davies from Claremont. Fantastic distributor (seems better than Curtin live), good height at 196, but lightish frame (like Zac D was).

Ok Snuffaluphagus hear me out on this one.
Trading Futures is all about perceived value, right now our F1 is worth about pick 5-6, whereas Pies is worth 18 and ports is worth 15.
After North get reemed by WC and give up P2&3 for Harley Reid, they’ll be left with 15,17,18 and potentially 23 on draft night.
I expect they’ll want to use 15 as their second selection to bring in 2 first round picks this year, but if there’s a couple of players we highly rate at 17&18 (21&22 on the night) we could trade our F1 for both picks and take the 2 players we like back to back.
If we do jump up the ladder in 2024 happy days we’ve traded a pick in the teens for the two players we wanted.
If we don’t jump up, we have at least had a year of development into those two players and our 2025 F1 still holds the same currency in any potential trade with Sydney for McDonald.
To me it’s a no brainer as our F1 will very unlikely have as much value as it has right now.

Can someone share the late picks that Walls has nailed? I know Freddy was one. He could unearth a hidden gem or two.
Treacy is another.

Depends where you want to draw the line of his reign starting. Was head of recruiting it? Was list manager it?

Schultz at around 57 was decent.

Corey Wagner around same mark last year was one of the very latest picks. The Eagles plucked out Cole just after who looks good.

Treacy in Rookie draft etc.

Lloyd Meek 69 in 2017
Sam Switta 73 in 2017

He has a good draft talent identification team.
