I've gone down to Preston City Oval a few times this season and stats do not do Ryan justice.
He changes the way the Bullants and their opposition play when he's on the ground, if he's forward, rucking, or floating a kick behind the ball. Insane marking ability and field kicking safely above AFL standard.
If I wasn't so emotinally invested in the Box Hill program I'd want no one else.

While watching the Hawks v Bullants game I searched for details on this guy thinking that he looked promising but also that he looked 20yrs old or less. In fact he is 25. Granted he is (sort of) new to AFL and so could have rapid growth in his game but at the time I remember thinking that while he moves well, is a beautiful kick on his left foot and clearly has the size, he lacks ability in the contest. For mine, he would be a project player and well behind Ramsden.

Looked at home at VFL level and being 18yrs old has time to elevate his game to AFL level.

Very hard to see many positives in that vision considering the opposition, got caught a lot to.
Yes But… he is an 18year old playing against last years grand finalists in the VFL... cut him some slack.
From such young players I am looking for the quality plays as an indication of his potential … and will forgive the mistakes.
We can agree to disagree but I would lIke to see Maric on our list. He is no Jai Newcombe or Max Ramsden in terms of his ceiling, but he could become an AFL quality 3rd tall / high half fwd. That said, if we miss out on him to the Woeful Eagles or Nuffie Norf, … I’ll recover from the disappointment pretty quickly.

exactly, not even Teal who has nominated for a long contract. Unlikely they are doing that if they don't have interest
WC every chance to take a local such as Buller. We might still get the second choice Vic.

Still unsure why the AFL hasn't just made it a mandatory 18 month contract for mid season draftees. 6 months is ridiculous particularly for someone having to move interstate. If clubs don't want to offer that length then they don't get to take a free 6 month hit.

View on the North board and from North supporting mates is basically 'please god no more developing talls' ...
It would probably be a draft full of passes. List size would need to grow before that could happen.
