like last week, i'm seeing only bit of the giants but the impression i get is that they think they're a much better team than they actually are ...
and looking at some of the names still there, they're barely clinging to the remnants of their "great" era ...
does jesse hogan contribute much? (i know he just kicked a goal)
coniglio seems barely a patch on what he looked like being, and the best of that was years ago
kelly, well, he's become one of the biggest disappointments of the past decade
toby is still a gun but he won't be carrying them very far ...
it's early days, yes, but geez ... being made to look like this by west coast ...

having said all that, it is still west coast, and they're pretty ordinary ... wouldn't surprise at all if they giants got back into this game

GWS had to travel to Perth 6 days after playing a brutal game in 30+ degree heat, with all their players cramping and physically spent, without Kelly and Whitfield.

The only reason I'm not barracking more for North is because I'm fairly confident the Hawks will get the spoon either way. Overall, I think I still prefer the Hawks lose. Partly I'm not fond of Hawthorn (the only club I like less is Carlton), partly it's because we hold their picks.
