Give me elite qb money or I walk
* the Giants would be stupid to offer him that
Would love to see how Carr having 10 press conferences a season where he takes the blame and then drops a few tears goes.
That s**t isnt going to go down well with the NY media.
How many others can get away with quitting on a team after being benched?
A lot of the bots are trained on older information. So it's not unusual for them to not be fully up to date. Why are they suggesting Fields has only played one season? They do know hes been in the league for two right?
Didbt he change it from Robby to Robbie before as well?
This is precisely what I want us to do.The smart thing for the Bears to do is trade pick 1 and have it feature a 1 and 2 next season and a 1 this year. If Fields is still not progressing use it to trade up for a better QB next season. Young isnt the answer.
He absolutely doesn't have a future at centre. The Athletic's Bob Sturm writes Ezekiel Elliott "has one option for employment above the league minimum and it is right here in Dallas."
"I think the answer is that given the number of analysts and scouts I have talked to about Elliott this year and the consensus opinion is in stone. He has very little left in his legs and the word is out," Sturm leads with. Well, people do watch football. It's already been reported by Tony Pauline earlier this offseason that Elliott was facing a massive paycut. It sounds like the market may be tepid enough for him to remain a Cowboy no matter what. The real question in that scenario is: Just how much runway would Elliott get to keep being a focal point in Dallas' running game?
If they didn't earn ridiculous millions of dollars, you'd almost feel sorry for players like Zeke. The Athletic's Bob Sturm writes Ezekiel Elliott "has one option for employment above the league minimum and it is right here in Dallas."

When you get him in the door for no trade compensation, it adds to his value.I can't believe we're at a point where multiple teams think Derek Carr is their missing piece.

They're not getting him for nothing though. He's going to get a contract in the 30-35mil range you'd reckon, maybe higher. When you get him in the door for no trade compensation, it adds to his value.
Having to trade a shed load of picks for other top QBs makes teams tell themselves that he's a better option.

That's a lot of money to invest in a QB who over the course of his career has shown that he's nothing more than painfully average. Would be such a Jets thing to do to sign him.
