Yeah, but I'd pick a terrible team. I'm more interested in the strategy stuff to tell the truth. To me the coaches have (or should have!) a much better gauge on the strengths and weaknesses of our players than we do.

Most definitely.
If anyone is pushing him for a wing role, for me is is Jimmy Tunstill.
Lyons is first cab off the rank for inside mid depth.
I probably have Wilmot just ahead of McKenna for the 7th. currently. Looks a bit more composed with the ball and is able to run out a game a little better than McKenna at this stage.
McKenna looked absolutely spent towards the end of the 4th quarter on Friday.

Was really impressed with Dev on Friday, playing for both teams. Far from perfect but genuinely plays like he gives a stuff, all the time.

It is a fairly big screen.
Looks like they could add some additions around the screen itself, like some sort of advertising.
Thats just a guess on my part.
Then it's a matter of if the whole structure stays open as it stands now or it gets enclosed.

Yeah, I'll go Dev too. Love Lyons, but might be time for him to take on the captain / coach role of the VFL side, before moving into the midfield coaching role.

Edit: Yes I know the VFL side has a coach already. Just thinking left field to help keep the soft cap down.

Lions banned from the 2026 2027 2028 2029 2030 draft (except for the Pre-Season and Rookie draft) and trade periods (in fairness to Lions' players movement needs all players are delared unrestricted free agents) due to equity and reasons ... also Lions' salary cap reduced 'because it is cheaper to live in Qld than Vic' ... discussions on Lion's 23-26 side being greater that the Pies' 27-30 banned on BigFooty as 'mis/dis/mal-information' and considered micro-agressive and triggering to the delicate Pie and greater Victorian fan base, V/AFL House begins scheduling Lions' home games on Venus (Ballarat/Alice/Townsville/Wooloongong/Metricon) in their now-standard Sun afternoon blockbuster time slot.

In related news AFL media Season 2027-28 are stunned at the Lions' fall from powerhouse to also-rans and happily ascribe their recent 'success' to the in-ordinate benefits they had received and seem pleased that at least other teams now have a chance.

In unrelated news Lions' premiership captian William Ashcroft has been offered a mega-deal to move to Collingwood which pundits agree would be excellent for the competition.

Dev for me. If Lyons is fit, then it would be interesting. However, he would have to show a much better defensive run, not just getting clearances. I am not sure if Lyon has ever been a great defensive runner (mostly the reason why GC got rid of him for nothing)
