It was only 1-4 year players that officially started today so that’s who would of done the time trials. Benning might be carrying something? There were a fair number of players who didn't run the time trials by the looks of it. Hamling, Taberner, Cox, Aish, Brodie all there - didn't see them running. Nor Benning who would qualify for the lower experience group.
Thought I saw Benning at the very back of one of the group photo's for the time trial just starting out. Wouldnt expect any of those other names to be running, I'd have thought if fit there would be no reason for Jye to not be running the time trial. Of course, we'll all just have to speculate without basis until the clubs deigns to give an explanationThere were a fair number of players who didn't run the time trials by the looks of it. The final time trial saw Chapman win from Serong and Michael Frederick, with second-year midfielder Matthew Johnson and defender Hayden Young rounding out the top five.Yeah, be good to know Noddy, Aish and Freddy's times.

I read on another site that Benning was out done by Muzza by about 500 metres. There were a fair number of players who didn't run the time trials by the looks of it. Hamling, Taberner, Cox, Aish, Brodie all there - didn't see them running. Nor Benning who would qualify for the lower experience group.

Any Amiss sightings mate?Ok just a quick up date.
Will Brodie looks much fitter this year. A massive improvement on last year.
Jackson look ripped as did most of the squad.
Walters did a bit of training early and look really fit.
Switta was at at training but I didn't see him out on the field.
Kuek looked handy at times.
I hope Bennings was unable to train during the off season if not he will not be around for long. He was ok in a couple of the drills.
Remembering this was the younger players, it was interesting that most of the ball work was moving the ball quickly forward of centre. The main drill was a kick by a coach from the deep defensive pocket.
The forwards tried to create a turnover and QUICKLY move the ball towards the goals. No bombing the ball forward. Might be one of the reasons why we are looking for a new winger.
The first couple years under JL it was all about ball movement out of the backline, then midfield ball movement, now hopefully it's all about the forwards.
We started with the young defenders.
Now we have the best young midfield in the competition.
Now a couple new young forwards to work with.
Just bought a fold 4, not very happy with the camera, sorry about the photo quality.
4 runs , 2 clockwise 2 anticlockwise (?) Maybe 5 minutes rest.Anyone know the format of the 1k time trials? How much rest do they get between each trial?
I wonder if the combine will eventually move to this repeat run format instead of the 2k?
Thanks half baked, love reading these reports as not able to get down to Cockburn.Ok just a quick up date.

Watch hawks pick him up nowAs per the West Freo might be looking at bringing Liam Serong over as a train with players this off season.
Was BOG in his grand Final recently and Walls was watching. Described as a key position marking type.
To quote :
Fremantle are strongly considering bringing a second Serong on board this pre-season.
The West Australian understands Liam Serong, the youngest and tallest of the Serong siblings, is in the mix for a train-on gig this summer if he’s overlooked in this week’s national and rookie drafts.
The 193cm key-position talent is rated as a naturally-gifted athlete with good skills and a great set of hands but was limited to a handful of NAB League games for Gippsland Power in a stop-start year.
Yep, reckon Jai was our next pick before those bastards swooped in.Watch hawks pick him up now
He 100% was. That's why we ended up with Benning bc we weren't gonna be taking anyone elseYep, reckon Jai was our next pick before those bastards swooped in.
How the hell is Caleb so much shorter than his brothers lolAs per the West Freo might be looking at bringing Liam Serong over as a train with players this off season.
