How are we defining above average here? Crozier to date has played 138 senior games and has had a 11 year career. You could also argue Weller on the same basis. Tucker has managed 110 AFL games and he's only 26 and still on a list. Weller in particular, when he is not injured, is definitely a better than average running defender.

Even if you say 5 instead of 2, that's, well it's not ideal. Luckily the 2016,17,19,20 and '21 drafts have helped balance it out a bit*

*(I am actually all aboard the hype train with this list. I think it's dynasty level.)

At the time I think I meant potential to be in the top 10-15 players in a premiership side.

Crozier and Weller are definitely the best of the rest but falls slightly short of that.

At least with Weller the trade got us a half decent player.

In hindsight Langdon is definitely at that level imo.

Was comparing it to Crozier trade which got us Dixon, so basically nothing.

Trading away Weller and Hill, maybe Cerra as well has more than likely set us up very very well.

I reckon having most clubs pass, he will want to make most clubs look silly.
That sort of motivation and drive breeds champions.

One of my mates is mates with him and he apparently - as we know, hates Freo and more specifically hates Nat Fyfe. In my mates words, "he told me it is his mission this year to ruin Nat Fyfe." He made it sound like he was going to do everything he can to try and find 'dirt' on Fyfe and expose it/him.

Potentially breaching my mates trust here so hoping this stays within BigFooty haha - and I know it is a bit of he said/she said but my mate doesn't follow footy at all, so wouldn't make something like this up I wouldn't have thought.

If true, a) **** that guy, b) you should be prepared for it to get back to him because you’d be surprised the people that read in here

I hadn't realised that Jye had put on this much size already! After only 1.5 pre-seasons thats pretty special returns.

He’s got wide shoulders to fill out… next is the thick quads to hold his ground.

I don’t think it was some master plan. Rather players wanting out, and instead of the old Freo being easier to negotiate we stood our ground.
Same with Lobb, Acres, Griff just got a better deal.
Same thing will happen again, with Henry unless he is best 22.
Under new management the club sees itself as a destination and contender.
We just do better drafting, trading now as we fine tune the list.

I would say it is very likely they are at Freo today but I cant be 100% certain because I've been burnt trying to go to a Wednesday sesh before
