Look. I'd love for XO to find his rhythm but from what I've seen over the last two years and how he only JUST got a contract ...make me think he's not a long term role player for us.
Happy to be wrong but I've watched his kicking and handballing live and it's not up to scratch.
I agree he will play round 1 after that preseason game but by the end of the year I think he will be depth
More people see it your way, than my way. Im definitely in the minority.

I grabbed a couple for work colleagues who enjoy live sport. They aren't AFL fans, as such, but it's a cheap way for them to spend a Sunday.
I have a mnumber of mates who are members as Western Sydney Sports fans as opposed to AFL or Giants fans, they are 4 games members but only get to 1 or 2 games a year but like to think of themselves as supporters

How do you think they will be converted to Giants fan? Can they be? Is it just winning?

maybe. I think they'll forever be casual fans.

Over time we will pick up more and more of them. Much like the storm in rugby league and the swans in the AFL.

Casual fans are super important long term to any sporting venture. The odd one will become a rusted on fan (like me), but most will continue to follow when convenient.

Has anyone seen Rowston play?
only allies footage.

He actually played forward a bit and kicked a stack of goals.

He looked really good in the the footage I saw. I reluctant to say who he reminded me of, but I saw a bit of Petracca in him. By know way am I suggesting that Petracca will ever be as good as Rowsten ;) , but I saw some similarities. I have never heard anyone say this, so I might be dreaming a bit

Though disappointing that we've started the season having to do this.

It is for us that know the history. However Adelaide are not a big crowd drawer in sydney. But both teams look exciting this year.

So a giants win, with a bigger looking crowd on TV will definitely help the snowball start to roll.

I am a member of the Macarthur bulls in the A-league as well, and I think the same things as I do at giants home games. So so many people to draw a crowd from in WS, why can’t they get bums on seats.

All conned with success I guess.

Good looking team. With Adelaide likely to play 3 tall forwards, I’d prefer to see Leek on the bench.

Yes, I like to see Leek either starting or on the bench. I would have also liked to have seen Cadman debut, but it’s only a matter of a few games before he plays AFL this year

Riccardi is only 23 and kicked 4 in the praccy. I reckon he might take the jump this year.
Ideally if Ricca and Hogan are firing we can send Himmel back and start Cadman sometime mid year.

I've sent that promo to heaps of people I know. Why not.
If every member can encourage mates then it'll be a good vibe.
I got an offer to redeem upto 4 free tickets? With face paintings and giveaways at the ground, it is a great opportunity to introduce families to the team and game. Our strategy seems to be to maximise attendance from the very start, given the poor crowds at Giants stadium last year.

HH was great in the backline, but there’s less of a need for him there as we do seem to be relatively stronger in the backline now? In any case, I thought Adam wanted HH to play forwards?

We do have a strong backline. But it would be stronger with him in it with Haynes not showing a lot of form lately.

At the moment we need him in the forward line that's for sure.

I was just saying that IF we want Cadman to get some games an we lose a defender that could be a great way to make it happen.
