Underated performance by Newman on SPP. Never gave the Pepper an inch, even though SPP plays a very physical game. Held him to 1 goal and Newman had great distribution himself.

Fantastic performance

For once, it was spearheaded by our bottom 6.

Silvagni, Motlop, TDK have all been dropped and were magnificent in setting the win up. Cottrell and Fogarty fantastic in playing their role. And special kudos to Newman - they tried so hard to wxpose him in the midfield and he not only held up, his kicking became a weapon.

To win is awesome. To do so with none of Cripps, Walsh or Cerra getting to 25 touches... amazing. Port were down... but they are second for a reason and we held off.

Only downside is injuries... Harry, McGovern and Cerra all listed as out by the end of the match is a big price to pay, but hopefully the news is good and they can get right over the next two weeks...
